Saves PS5 corrupted

+
Many people on PS5 are having issues with their save files after saving while playing the DLC, this bug is making the dlc unplayable because you constantly lose all your progress and it destroys your save file.

Hello
After DLC saves randomly become corrupted, I’m not the only one with a problem, is there a solution to the problem expected in the near future?
Same here. Every save after entering Dog Town is damaged, so impossible to load/continue
Yes this is the same case for me. After boarding elevator to enter Dogtown is when saves become damaged so I can't go back and reload.

same here. i loaded a ver 2.0 save data, it happend before V take Dogtown mission. I loaded a ver 1.6 save data, it happend during the second mission (to meet the Present). so I am playing a hardcore 2077 now.

I have the same issue on my PS5. Save files are getting corrupted. Hours of gameplay, progress, loot - all gone to waste. It's just unplayable.

How is this even possible? No, seriously.
This isn't just a glitched texture. It's an inability to save any progress.

Clearing inventory and stash of 'extra' items doesn't help. Nothing helps at all.

Shame

(reposting this as I posted it elsewhere)

Same.

After updating to 2.0, every save I make (manual, auto, quicksave) from an existing playthrough (3 playthroughs, over 150 hours each) can't be loaded afterwards, it kicks me to main menu saying the save file is corrupted. I can load my 1.65 save files normally, but even if I make a save right away after loading that 1.65 file (without doing anything in game) and then try to reload that new save, it is already corrupted.

I backed up all saves to cloud, and then deleted them from my console and then reinstalled the game+DLC. Downloaded saves after game and DLC got freshly installed, same exact problem, can't make a new save state (that doesn't get corrupted) at any point into 2.0 from an existing playthrough.

Yep. Same issue with me. None of the saves I’ve made since the DLC went live will load (probably lost about 5 hours play) only the ones I made before it dropped will load.

Scared to play the DLC now, as I wouldn’t be surprised if it just happens again

The same thing, it is very frustrating not to be able to play the expansion nor enjoy the changes of the latest patch.

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out.

Please clear your console's cache. To do so, follow the steps listed below:

  1. Power down your console. Do not enter Rest Mode.
  2. Wait for the lights on your PlayStation to turn off completely and unplug the power cable.
  3. Wait minimum 2 minutes.
  4. Plug the power cable back into PlayStation and turn the console on.

Afterwards, see if the issue still occurs.

Kind regards,

Got the same mail after trying to contact them. Replied that I have done this several times already with no effect. Not heard anything more since..

I received a slightly more detailed set of instructions and followed them meticulously step by step, but it didn't help:

«You may try to completely remove Cyberpunk 2077 data from your console - this is different from simply reinstalling.
Important: Make sure to back up your saves before this process and to follow all these steps - without skipping any.

Deleting games in your library
1. Navigate to the icon of Cyberpunk 2077.
2. While highlighting the icon, press the Options button on your controller to bring up this menu.
3. Select Delete and OK.

Deleting the games from system storage
1. Navigate to Settings on the home screen.
2. Select Storage.
3. Select System Storage.
4. Select Applications.
5. Press Options on your controller, then choose Delete.
6. With the desired boxes checked, choose Delete.
7. Confirm your selections by pressing OK.

Clean your console's cache
1. Turn off PlayStation 5. Do not enter Rest Mode.
2. Once the indicator light on top of your PlayStation 5 is off and has stopped blinking, unplug the power cable from the back of the console.
3. Wait a minimum of 30 seconds.
4. Plug the power cable back into PlayStation 5.

Afterwards, reinstall the game and see if the issue persists.»

This is a massive issue, seemingly affecting a significant number of users, and the visible actions taken so far appear to be the copy-pasting of ineffective instructions.

Speechless
