Neither of the games play exactly according to any of the usual rules for Dice Poker.
TW2 has better dice roll mechanics, where throwing the dice off the board if you are careless is a possibility. And not everybody likes the dice graphics, though I do. But the inadequate stakes and betting mechanics are turn-offs.
TW1's game, with more meaningful stakes and best-of-three play, is a more substantial game. If TW2 had just kept the stakes and play from TW1, it would be a better game.
Or if TW2 just had meaningful stakes and real dice poker rules (two re-rolls, you can't re-roll dice you didn't re-roll the first time).
