Visual customization - Whats the Point?

+
Interesting thread :) ... and as for myself, I decided to always choose for my V outfits which fits together and looking good (or at least not completely wrong :D). Huge help with "playable" sets (usable for normal play) are clothes which will completely hide layer of clothing below. Yes, this may be seen (rightfuly) as lazy design too, but this at least works. From character viewpoint I see the best offer for nomad/street kid and the worst for corpo (sexy looking outfits ... sigh). There are also issues with certain clothes like skirts or coats which not look good when using motorbikes, or not look practical at all when using photo mode.

The worst however imo is, that there is completely missing npcs reaction to V's look. I.e. go into slums during night in cute corpo outfit should bring immediate reaction. The same when using old nomad suit and entering corpo hotel, better disco club or juanji clothes store. Imo here is one from big areas where Cyberpunk can (could) deliver much more as we got.

Another thing which I do not like at all is that there are numerous clothes which simply "changes" chosen body model (for woman). You can even see it directly when there is sometimes delay when changing clothes in inventory screen.
