Witcher 1 Enhanced - should I keep the books?

My storage is littered with read books. Once the book has been read is there any reason to keep them or can I NPC them?

As already mentioned in your other thread, no you don‘t need to keep the books.

Also: moved to gameplay section, as this is not a technical issue (but I already mentioned that questions like that should not be posted in the technical section...)
