Witcher Enhanced Edition Boxing

Occasionally when engaged in a boxing match the opponent disappears and I am stuck in boxing mode. There doesn't seem to be any way out other than killing the game (hitting the X upper right) and reloading the last save. Is this a known glitch?

When I do boxing now I save between each match to have a very current save to go back to.

(an aside question as well: I have a couple questions about game play and have posted in the discussion forums but have had no reply. Is there another way to ask questions? For instance, the books which I've read are getting numerous. If I have read the book is there any reason to keep them or can they be NPC'ed?)

I never experienced that bug during a fist fight, no. But TW1 has been out there for quite a while, so there can be all sorts of bugs. Are you using any mods?

You don‘t really need the books, no. But yeah, please keep the gameplay questions in the gameplay section. I haven‘t seen you post there yet, but if you do, most questions will be answered eventually.
