fpp is completly logical and understandable in this type of game, its obvious that fpp will work better in buildings, where the world is high skyscrapers, not a relativly flat landscape like in witcher games, in the game with aiming etc. In general i have only hopes that the game itself will not suffer if they decide to add tpp thanks to some limited ppl making a lot of noise

That's why I wrote what works for me. Unfortunately, dimenhydrinate is the only thing working for me...
Is your condition chronic or acute... Scopolamine works well in acute setting, but has side effects when used repeatedly.. If your condition is chronic, then it becomes hard you are left with very little options and lots of side effects ,some people have calculi in their vestibular compartment, solved by simple maneuvers again consult your doctor...motion sickness is dangerous ,if you are old enough to drive a car,you may put other lives in danger .stay away from the causing factor

First off im in school for programming also I am working on my on little indie game. You are right CDPR could have skimped out on making full animations for one of the most hyped games ever. Even though MP is still in development and might be added meaning you would need those animations to see anyway but cross that bridge when you come it just halfass it now. You know what guys you are right :) I am a FPP only supporter now anyone that wants to express their opinion or wants to give them feedback on their game like they asked BUZZ off you are not welcomed here. What you want OPTIONS hahahaha....FPP4LYFE /s

I do not understand one thing. There are great, loved by many games like Borderlands and i have never heard anyone have problem with fpp. Why would it be a problem in Cyberpunk?

Lack of communication for a long period of time that has lead the fanbase to imagine their dream game and get disappointed when they discovered it wouldn't be a Witcher 3 reskinned in cyberpunk.

I did consult the doctor. Plus, I don't have a driving license. The sickness is occuring mostly when I'm in the back seat or when drivers rapidly stops and starts. And in FPP :/

About motionsickness. Watch the video;
For your consideration, CDPR:

I feel bad for people with motion sickness but I don't believe it's 17% of people, I'd like a source on that. I mean some of the most successful games have been first person games, I never heard people complaining about those. Yeah it sucks but we can't cater the world to the minority, especially if it impedes on artistic vision

It's not a matter to cater the world to minority. It's a matter of selling your product to the highest possible number of people to maximize your profits.

And so, yes, that 17% matters too.

Depends on how camera move. If it too shaky as in Farcry, them it is bad. If it is more or less stable, as in counter strike, then it is okay.

Please Please Please Please Please Please, do not make it first person or make third person a secondary consideration toggle.

I have never had hype die so quickly for a new game I thought I would love.

First person is not suited for RPGs, I never played any of TES games for that reason. RPGs are about your character in the world. First person removes all of that for the sake of so called immersion. Having a zoom in to FP mode is fine for when you want to look at a panoramic view but for the whole game it is decidedly not for me.

I am 100% sure this game will be a resounding success just like Skyrim, but unless FPV is a toggle for taking screenshots or reading screens/signs in game I will be unlikely to play the game.

I don't want to play as a floating camera in an RPG. I want to be able to pan and zoom around during combat, raise and lower the angle, not be fixed in to a 180 degree view I can only rotate and tilt up and down, if anything it reduces my immersion in the game being so limited. If your environment and story and characters and 'feel' of the world are top shelf, that is what provides the immersion, not playing in FPV. This is a bizarre decision.

I would go so far as to say that first person view is a relic of generations past that is being stubbornly held on to, 3rd person provides so much more.I think CDPR will alienate a decent portion of their players with a choice like this. but this is all just my opinion of course.

And yes TP has a lot of good points and would have fit the game. Accept this.

You should probably accept that guys and gals at CDPR have developed and tested the game for years and they came to the conclusion that TP doesn't fit the game they're making. Simple as that.;)

Yours is the perfect setting to use scopolamine and anticholinergics your get dizzy when you are introduced to the causing factor, consult an ent specialist too...search about bppv ,don't drink coffee, tea, caffeinated drinks before travelling...stay safe
PS sit in the front seat of the car

For anyone interested

  • About "Will there be a TP view" :

  • About "Why the choice of FP view" :

Even dialogues are in FPP? Ugh... I was hoping to see my character at least there too while playing FPP. Now I wonder if it's really that much places in the game where we will see our character except cut scenes. It sounds to me like it's not that much as they are trying to convince us.

spending hundreds of thousands of dollars refactoring your game just to add a separate camera is not a very bright way of maximizing profits

The point you dont hearabout it is correct. But previous to this day and age games came out and you learned of them at that time. People who couldn't play didnt have an opinion because it was this is not for me and nothing more said. When it was announced back years ago it was stated 1 and 3. People built on that and got into the idea that they could play. That is why you hear about it with this and not with others.
