Can't login to register The Witcher

At least through the launcher. It says invalid password. If I try password recovery, it says it sends an e-mail, but I never get one. (yes I've checked junk mail, nothing in there.)

The kicker is I've already registered it once a long time ago, I just upgraded my PC, and decided to try playing it again. Now I can't register, and can't patch it because of it. Is the account linked w/this forum account? Should I delete this account somehow and try it all over again?

Registration shouldn't be necessary to patch the game anymore. Relevant link:

right so, I tried that one, and it says "The Language pack corresponding to the language version of the game already on your system was not found. Download relevant language pack."

So I try installing "TWEE_English_language_pack" and I get "Please install The Witcher: Enhanced Edition Upgrade before installing %p"

I'm afraid I think I probably entered into the realm of unusual problems.

What you need to do is create a folder and place both the 1.4 patch and language pack in the newly created folder . Then open the folder and run the 1.4 patch as admin .
Depending on the speed of your computer...patching could take awhile .
