All Quiet On The Eastern Front - The Rant-Thread

Or it's just one of the concept art pieces he made for CP2077 but didn't make it into the game, so he put it on his profile. Nevertheless, it gives an idea of how they might imagine Cyberpunk characters and it's always nice to see high quality artwork from CDPR's artists.

Unless, you know, it's for Saint's Row :p

Heh, I thought of that too. All that purple. As to Pawel B's role in creation, my guess is that the in-house artists at CDPR supply him with concepts and he does the high polish renders for them.

Here's something to get you talking, CP brethren.

I spotted the following site: http://www.pawel.brudniak.com/index.html

Guy seems to be working on something realted to The Witcher 3 (http://www.pawel.brudniak.com/gallery/3d26.jpg, http://www.pawel.brudniak.com/gallery/3d18.jpg)

But, perhaps more interesting to you, is that I also found the following images:

A new CP2077 (and Witcher) CGI trailer perhaps?

Looks very Saints Row 4 to me, and isn't that SR4 presidents symbol on his hat? though it still looks great. I guess I'll continue waiting

Yeah, i, too thought it was very SR. The purple, the symbol.

And, I want to shoot his poser ass. Stupid hat, too.

those pics look pretty legit if you ask me
androids, bozos, implants.. i mean it's pretty obvious those were made for c77

I'm sure he'll be reworked if the character does make it into the final game (assuming CDPR even plan to have him in there in some form or another). Perhaps wearing all yellow with a fish symbol instead.

Wow... If it's really for CP2077 then I'm hyped.

Btw, only Saints Row can use purple now?

The symbol on the hat is clearly NOT the SR4 one. It's not an eagle holding a rocket launcher and a machinegun, it's a pretty detailed skull with a tophat and wings. Could that be a philarmonic vampire? It looks too much like a villain to be a Saint in Saints Row (he's wearing purple), also robots, bozos and laser pointers in the tip of his fingers, that "implant" ad... it could very well be CP2077 artwork.

Just because it doesn't look good on you doesn't mean it is stupid

I would totally cosplay the dude. Maybe a little bit over the top but still very fashionable. Exactly my style. Would love to invade Gamescom in that outfit. Not all too hard to build the costume either I guess...

@Emicrania If you're looking for pure fun sure... but if you're looking for good lore and storyline... then I'm not so sure you would like it. :)

i never played saint row, does it worth?

I loved the second game.. Never played the first one.. Third one was ok at best, wasn't as nearly good as the second one.. Forth one was the most terrible "game" i've ever played, since it was nothing more than an attempt to milk money from the fans of the series (it literally used all the assets of the third game and only had a half assed story to make it seem like a game, it was designed as a DLC in the first place), but since the powers were nice enough, it would work great as a really cheap non-canon DLC..

I would advice for you to play the second one only.. And maybe the third one, if you can't find anything else to play.

To me he's a showman/dealer of some sort. He's selling something and he has that used car salesman vibe. SR has never had a cyberpunk theme and this clearly does. The most likely explanation is Gregski's: it's old work that has since been revised for the game and thus can be shown in his portfolio. Even if it only represents the artistic vision they have for the game, I'm happy.

Deckers, Tron homages, an OCP like Corp (Ultor) with the gentrification of a depressed district of a city (Saints Row) much like Old Detroit/Delta City and a certain cyborg Future Kinzie apparently in a DLC for a DLC... I mean SR4 XD. But yeah, this is way cyberpunker.

I liked second one for its combination of seriousness (story part) silliness (activities).

ok i was watchin the gameplay...i guess is part of that things in life either u do it in time, either u just missed it...

If you want a fun (but vastly shorter) alternative to GTA I suggest the second game. If you want pure mindless power fantasy I reccomend the third and fourth games. Fourth game doubly so if you want aliens and superpowers sprinkled on said power fantasy.

Also as schlocky as the fourth game may seem to some, it is actually a passion project http://www.saintsrowmods.com/forum/threads/hands-on-with-the-saints-row-iv-press-preview.2759/

His review is even-handed and honest aswell, just in case you have even more doubts aswell http://www.saintsrowmods.com/forum/threads/idolninjas-saints-row-iv-review.3133/
