Having a problem with the Witcher 3. I have a cross progression save from PS5 to steam. When I transferred the save it all went fine. I haven't played for a while but got on my steam deck to play and I'm missing a lot, it was all there when I first did the cross save. All of my inventory for Roach is gone, all the trophies and gear for him are gone. All of the witcher gear I crafted is also gone and I'm back in the base armor, I had several of the sets tier 3 or higher. The inventory chest is also completely empty now, that's where most of the gear was that I wasn't using along with upgrade materials. I was trying to collect one of every piece of armor or weapon at least the special ones.
Were you using any mods on the PC end?
Was game progression recorded correctly?

I don't use mods. When I first did the cross save it put me back a little bit but I still had most of my stuff. I checked it when I first used the cross save to make sure it worked properly and i wasnt missing anything. But now loading in everything is gone. Even inventory for Roach, it's unlikely that I would make it past bloody baron quest line and not have a single trophy. Also the special reward armor set from logging in with CDProject Red account (I forgot what it's called) is gone but it shows I've redeemed it.
That's quite strange. I'd follow up directly with Support on this. I don't know of any bug that would erase inventory...but never underestimate the ability of computers to do "things".
If you reload that older save file, is the stuff still there?
I have to update the ps5 and see what happens. I'll probably just re upload my Playstation save to the cloud and try again on steam deck.
