Request/demand for a German translation? I could do one. ;)

I've only pushed for translations that fit on the boards present on The Witcher Forums. But if you're up for the task I'm not going to say no. :)

Just don't know where it would fit, German Community thread perhaps?

Yeah, I'll probably do it tomorrow and post it there. It's a rather long Q&A after all. :p

Redpoints!

Ah, we in the Locations Team are really proud of the fact that everything is hand-crafted, which is why you keep hearing us say it over and over.

Terrain Textures are painted by hand, assets including foliage are placed by hand as well. We do have foliage generation for a basic foliage layer based off the type of terrain texture used (which again is painted by hand).

Yes, it is an insane amount of work that we did have to sacrifice our fair share of evenings for - but for us it's just worth it and honestly, we firmly believe it makes for a better game, because it makes the world more enjoyable.
If we wouldn't we would've not done it, right?

WOW

Is there any chance we may be seeing another one in the next few months? I'd be very curious to read a bit more about the art, and artistic direction in the game.

Possibly.

This one needs to settle before I even start pondering the next one. There's a Tech Q&A in the works, but don't know the progress on that one since I'm not involved. :)

You shall drown in redpoints, Kinley!

But seriously... tremendous work. Great community questions asked, no PR bs, just honest interaction between a dev and fanbase. Loved reading it.

Music to my ears. Was not expecting such a warm reception, so thanks everyone for that.

Wanted to offer the community something you guys and gals have been asking for a long time. It helped a lot Miles understood from the get go what I was trying to do and he gave it his all when answering the questions.

I remember asking him "So how many questions did you answer?", he went "Almost all of them". Then I proceeded to call him a madman since there were over 60 of them to answer, he just went "I know". :D

despite my frustration with the gameplay changes and questionable design decisions, in my humble opinion, i enjoyed following CDPR during their journey into making the finale to geralt's trilogy. they're passionate about what they do and love sharing it with us.
so thanks to everyone at CDPR
