GOG Galaxy updating issue

Apologies for posting this here, but I haven't been able to locate an appropriate place for this.
Whenever GOG Galaxy tries to autoupdate, I get an error message saying that "There was a problem with updating the application", then gives a link to download the latest version. I can't update from within the application either.
This happened only within the last couple of months or so, I'm nit sure what could be issue here. Is there any help desk, or a proper forum to raise this?

Happens sometimes. I just download the latest version from their site and install it. Works fine.

I've had the same problem. The auto update doesn't work and I get the 'problem with updating' message. I'm directed to download from GOG site and I've completed the download but then get a message that there was a file missing so the installation failed. This happens every time and I've given up trying now.

It's definitely there, but only for games that are installed via GOG. If your GOG Galaxy is linked with Epic/Steam/Playstation... it can show these games as well but it won't give you the update check option.

If nothing helps, you could try reinstalling GOG Galaxy.
