What if Rockerboys could hold impromptu concerts with some trunk woofers, get on the roof and rock out, yeaaa, might be fun :]
You know the coolest scene in the classic 1988 anime Akira? It's when Kaneda slides his motorcycle to a halt. Haven't you wanted to do that?
it would be awesome if we could do this while driving motorcycles

If Jeep / Chrysler had any sense, they'd put this into production.
Like, yesterday.
Pity, that. The Dodge arm of the company seems to be in tune with their customer base; the Viper made it into production almost unchanged from the prototype shown at trade shows.Sadly, they are way out of touch with their costumers to do that. It would be nice though.

It's a near future open world/sandbox game. There needs to be a decent assortment of vehicles, bikes, cars, trucks, boats, aircraft (especially Aerodynes), that we can drive, keep, and customize.
What RPG's have you played that include vehicles besides Fallout 2? Your idea fits more with Grand Theft Auto than an RPG game.
Edit: You shouldn't think of this as a Sandbox game but rather an open-world RPG.
An open world game in a near future setting that doesn't have drivable vehicles has failed before it even loads the start screen.
And grand theft auto and it's ilk is far closer to the Cyberpunk 2020 experience than any "rpg" video game out there.
