For those who didn´t understand questions. Not much new things but it was confirmed that there will be no Nilfgaard and that they used some stuff from new Witcher book.
Nilfgaard lands you mean?

Well...*Sigh* Why are they doing that? It doesn't make much sense beyond Igni. WTF would a "Quen bolt" do, for instance?
Probably immobilize the target for a short amount of time. What would an Yrden bolt do? Stick to the crossbow and break the string?
Another one: how would he make the Signs when he's got the crossbow in that hand?

I don't think this means what you guys think it means (or the person writing the article, for that matter). It's just them saying the crossbow's more than a simple ranged weapon, as Signs can do ranged damage too. It has special uses, like making enemies bleed so you can track them etc.
This is the direct quote: “Come to think of it, it’s not a weapon per se, but there are witcher Signs you could use to deal ranged damage. There’s ten of them (an alternative for every classical Sign known from the previous game)"
This is the journalist's interpretation of those words:
"According to our soon-to-be-published interview, developer CD Projekt RED has confirmed that Geralt’s impressive crossbow is more than a simple ranged weapon. Our protagonist will be able to combine his witcher Signs with it, resulting in different projectiles."
As I said, to me that dev quote clearly states the crossbow is not just used to do ranged damage, it's more specialised than that - you've got Signs for ranged damage after all. What it clearly does not mean is thatr we'll be able to combine Signs with the crossbow bolts (which doesn't make any sense anyway).

The demo opened up with the Witcher himself, Geralt, riding through the large town of Novgirad. He’s on the trail of Ciri, an ashen-haired woman fans may remember from the original Witcher who is now being pursued by the Wild Hunt.
