Last chance for Last Wish?

So, has anyone tried what is the last point where you can still complete Last Wish?

Does it fail at that critical point when going to Isle Of Mists? I'm trying to complete as much as possible before that quest. Ugly Baby is my next main quest but it doesn't fail the Last Wish yet?

Yen is at Kaer Morhen at the end of Ugly Baby, and in Vizima earlier during Ugly Baby. Hence, it would be logical that Last Wish fails as soon as you talk with the stablehand at Crow's Perch and go riding into the sunset.

It might fail even earlier than that though.

I completed everything else (side/treasure/contract) with levels 30 or under. Ugly Baby is still my next main quest. Just started Last Wish, so it's doable even this late.

Picking up Uma from Crows Perch is the specific act that makes The Last Wish no longer available IIRC.
