[MOD] Visible Map Borders?

Not sure if I'm imagining it, but was there ever a mod that adds a line to the main Map representing the invisible borders where you can't explore?

If not, would this be a difficult mod to make for Toussaint?

I think I've seen images representing the lines but never a mod which actually adds them into the game map. I'd adore such a mod though.

Just curious if anyone knows whether this is possible. Just a simple outline of the explorable area visible on the main map.

Not seen one like that but, there is a mod that lets you go beyond be map boundary.

Yup, I know. But when you're trying to explore the map, even when you know where the boundary is, you still have to go back to the map and zoom out/zoom in again to get your bearings. Which is especially difficult when the area you're in is large and open, but has very few markers or landmarks on the minimap.
