Panam Palmer Storyline/Sidequests DLC [Spoilers]

+
I think it would be sick if we could talk to Panam when we first see her in afterlife. Maybe even team up with her for a small side gig sized mission before we do the heist. I want to see more of her life in night city, maybe an extra conversation in her car as we drive through the city to get to the side gig area. I feel like if we had been in her car before [ghost town] maybe we would feel more impacted when she gets it stolen from her and feel more inclined to take revenge on Nash with her
Panam wondering why the new guy at the Afterlife she's never seen before keeps insisting on helping her out for no apparent reason:

I agree though, it'd be great to have a little interaction with her the first time we see her!

I just finished my third playtrought of the game, this one going for the Don't Fear the Reaper ending.

First of all, I do see the canon ending being either The Sun or The Star since they are the only two that give a possibility to additionnal content. However, after seing the Don't Fear the Reaper (pretty much the Sun ending without some character dying), I think they will go for this one.

I previously stated on this forum how Mr Blue Eyes seems to be directly connected to a lot of plot holes in the game such as the Peralez questline. With the dialogue you get with him in this ending he clearly states that V wants Mr Blue Eyes to keep his end of their bargain. However, in the space ship, Mr Blue Eyes talks about the number of ressources V is gonna get from this heist, to which V responds something like I don't have anything to get from this. How I interpret this is pretty much that Mr Blue Eyes part of the bargain is the only thing V can get which is some type of cure or additionnal time to live. But, the data shard that seems to talk about V's future in this ending seems to be way less hopeful that the Iliad then you get with the Nomad ending. I already stated previously how I would see the Nomads coming back in a second DLC (if the Heist is the first one) where Panam will call V for help for whatever reason. Also, this ending makes it way easier for them to work around all the romance options.

Also, in my opinion, Panam doesn't really get the ''perfect'' ending her character deserves in any of the two endings and she's left with a huge plot hole either way. In the Star ending, she lost a number of close friends and has her hands full with her new duty as leader of the Aldecaldos which we could imagine impacts her relation with V. However, she has V at her side and the ending seems to suggest that V managed to survived or prolonged his life. On the other hand, the Sun endings makes it seem like she's happy in the badlands and we can imagine that not losing a single close friend is something positive. But, she doesn't have V at her side and you can see in her message that it hurts her, especially when she says: ''oh well, can't have everything - right, V? You know what I mean.'' Again, when she's offering to take V in a long ride, one can assume that he's alive and he could go and join her later down the road, which we could say is the best ending since V would be with Panam and she wouldn't have lost Bobby, Teddy and Saul, making her co-leader which would take a lot of weight off her shoulder since she would not have to lead alone.

Either way, let's keep this tread positive and let's see what the dev have for us, but I'm really hoping we'll get more side content with the great NPC they gave us!

This 9gag post really warms my heart and gives me hope. Again and again)
I know it's probably unrealistic at this point, but I hope CDPR takes note of that, I've seen that post get re-posted on YouTube, Reddit and 9gag now and in every single instance you look at the comments and the overwhelming majority of people would rather have extra single player content.

I know CDPR wouldn't necessarily be targeting their already existing fan-base with a multiplayer mode, but considering how the reception of this game has been, it seems like they would really have their work cut out for them trying to market this multiplayer to a new audience (let alone their og audience) based on the reputation they and it now have.

Let's pray they take a step back and reconsider, try and remedy the wounds and distrust/disappointment with their og fans and give us hella more Panam content ;)

so how are you guys passing the time until dlc? I found some decent fanfiction to tide me over but it's still early so not too many chapters ):
Replaying the game while taking it slowly, I can't believe how much stuff I missed the first time around. I put about 70 hours in for my first playthrough and now I'm not even at The Heist with Jackie and I basically only played content I haven't seen before it's crazy

Isn't it a separate team working on the multiplayer anyway? I guess we're probably going to get some kind of multiplayer version regadless, I hope they concentrate as much of their ressources as possible on the singleplayer version though

I think the biggest missing piece of the puzzle is that we don't know how long after the ending these voicemails take place. I hope with future content it might get cleared up

ok! Here are the top 3 I was reading last night lol

They are all Panam/Male V and focus on post star ending, and the writing quality is pretty good

Now I'm replaying the game from Act 2. Panam questline especially (I've made about 40 saves there to later photoshoots ;) ), now I will go with the rest of the game, trying to clear out as much as I can - I did most of the fabular side-quests in the first run.

You're right, there are 2 separate teams: one for single and one for multi. At least as far as I know.

As for Mr. Blue Eyes, for me he is Gounter O'Dim of Cyberpunk 2077, so surely we will meet him again.

Never read any fanfiction in my life but I've got to admit, I might start doing it for Panam :coolstory:
If the devs decide to add more Panam content they're just gonna have to check this thread and pick what they like most lol

I've heard that, but I'm just taking a wild guess here that once they are finished with the expansions and everything for the single player game they're going to make the main studio focus on it too, or they are going to move a few people from the studio over to helping the multiplayer project.

I say this because they seem to have delayed the multiplayer due to all the problems w the main game. I'm just assuming it's because it's going to make the development period for it longer due to what I said above. I think either way we're getting multiplayer at this point because they promised it to people, it'd be more bad PR probably if they cancelled it, but I think in the long run it would probably be a good idea for now. Multiplayer can always come down later in the line when they've repaired their reputation and the game we got.

I don't see how Mr Blue Eyes isn't there in the future of this game. The Crystal Palace Heist isn't for eddies, since Blue Eyes is way more powerful than V and Delamain stated that V as unlimited ressources. In the cutscene, V's mentions that his end of the bargain is the full data on all clients (who are rich and powerful people) of the casino. Knowing Mr Blue Eyes was linked to the brainwash of the Peralez, one could assume that he wants those data to control them. Like this he could control a lot of the world of CP2077 if he does to all those clients what he did to the Peralez. The ressemblance between him and O'Dimm is definitly there.

That's the point. We don't know nothing about Mr.B.E. and SSI - just a shady man from a shady organization presumably ruling the world. Also he has similar "on screen time" as O'Dimm from TW3 base game - more or less.

Not everyone is able to unlock the secret ending, so i think they wont make it canon.
I actually think that we are not going to get any canon ending.
And is better like this in my opinion

I agree though, it'd be great to have a little interaction with her the first time we see her!
Panam: "What du wan?"
V: "Nice ass ..."

Dont get your point.
these thread about panam and she appeares/belongs to all endings
i like nomad ending for last panzer scene and song but i can not choose it cos i don't want additional unnecessary avocados deaths and listen to panam suffering voice after and see dust storm like thickening clouds of great trouble over her head

V did a lot for her and she still wants to leave, it's not fair, legend V has more opportunities than star V, 6 months timer is not disney ending already
she once leaved them and just lack of choices gets in the way of convincing her to stay in the city for a while

nomads are weak and broken, they cannot fight even against single wrecked av, cannot save their leader and even after these leader wants to sell avocados to corp

her words sounds like: "I love you, let's go to my mother and we will live with her in the same house, because there are my favorite hamsters I need to take care of them "

I've still got no idea who Mr Blue Eyes is lol I've only played through the Star Ending yet but I keep reading from him everywhere, kinda excited to finally meet him in a few weeks when I'm through with the game again.
