[PC] External (to game settings) audio volume changes not working

Hello,

I have detected that audio level for the W3 game is quite low compared to others, but well, while on game (I had audio levels at 100% on game menu) I tried to:

*modify the audio level using the "general" volume for system via the scroll on my Logitech G110 keyboard: did not work
*modify the audio level using the "general" volume for system via the general audio control on my Ozone Strato 5.1 EVO headset: did not work.

It is a minor issue, but maybe easily fixed and would help to varify the audio in-game quickly.

I also have this problem. I am using my creative soundblaster card, not the hd audio from my video card. I wonder if the problem is related to that?

The volume wheel on my Logitech 510 doesn't work in Witcher 3, I have to alt tab to change volume. Irritating.

I've noticed that too. TW3 is much quiter than other games or when i'm listening to music. I have to turn up the volume always a few more steps when i'm playing TW3. Would be great it they could fix this.

Also having this issue. TW2 suffered from this. I have tried full screen and Borderless WIndowed Mode

I have the same issue whether using my Plantronics headset or desktop speakers. I have to come out of the game to adjust...
Has anyonechecked whether this is to do with windowed or full screen mode etc?

Temporary fix is use the latest version of Reshade. It made my K70 volume controls working.

I contacted CDPR about this. They said they would investigate. I contacted them after 7 days for an update, they confirmed they were able to replicate the issue and that what I should now do is monitor their social media / forum for any patch fixes. I asked if I would be notified directly when my support ticket would be updated, and they said no. Just to clarify, when they advised me to monitor social media for any patch notes, that was not confirmation that they fixed the issue or were even going to fix it, as this has been an issue since TW2. It was more then telling me to stop mailing them and just keep an eye out for any updates.

Patch 1.07 has resolved this issue for me.
