Performance on i5 4690 + EVGA gtx 980SC
Did some benchmarks (white orchard area):
steady 60fps all on ULTRA no HAIRWORKS
with nvidia hairworks, goes from 30 to 55 fps depending on situation.
Very intensive GPU engine. Not very CPU intensive game. CPU max usage at 40-50% all the time. Everyone should be fine even with low end cpus.
I'm fine with that. Good optimized game so far.
No difference between no AO, SSAO or HBAO+ in terms of permormance and visuals.
Hairworks doesn't really matter... I prefer normal Geralt's hair physics. On monsters is cool though, but when you're fighting you don't really stop staring at the uber fur... my two cents.
In the end, hairworks not worth the price in fps drops....Just play steady 60fps w/o them, if you got the right rig.
