The (Un)Offical HORSE Stutter Thread - Not addressed in 1.05 PC

Months after release one fix is oddly absent from any of the patches. The camera stuttering that occurs during the horses animation loop, while riding at a walking or trotting pace. It occurs at the exact same point in the horses animation and can be difficult see but once you see it (O_O). But to my knowledge this very specific problem has not been acknowledged by RED. Because it was not fixed in 1.05 or 1.06 or 1.07 and is different from the other camera stuttering problems I feel it should have its own thread. Below are a few links that show this problem:

This problem may be minor for some but for those of us who like to walk around on Roach admiring the scenery it can be VERY annoying. Of course a fix would be nice, but if you could acknowledge this issue and let us know that its's on your radar in the meantime we would really appreciate it.

Well, it's present on PS4, with patch 1.04. Never really noticed it before due to the camera stutter, but it's there and it`s a bit off-putting. Happens when I walk Roach at maximum walking speed, stick pressed all the way forward.
 
PC,i second this.The camera being much better does give me a better experience,the stutter
concerning the horse seems to get worse in the near vicinity of trees.
 
I'd like to see a fix for this, too. I typically prefer to keep Roach at a walk unless I know exactly where I'm going. It may just be me, but if I watch the actual horse model during the animation it looks smooth. However, if I move my view out to the horizon the jerk of the camera is pretty clear. I thought the animation loop was just missing a frame, but it seems more like the camera path in the animation didn't get synced from the end frame to the beginning of the next cycle. It's pretty distracting, but nothing compared to the camera stutter that is now thankfully fixed.
 
bump,CDR needs to tell us they know this bug and are fixing it instead of pretending this does not exist。

That's the thing. I think they know. How could they not know, its all over the place. It took me 10 seconds to find videos of it.

But they've never just come out and said it directly. And the lack of a fix so far has me worried that they're somehow not aware of it or even worse, they have no intention of fixing it.
 
After (and before) Patch 1.05 Geralt stutter when Jogging (from walk or stand to run)...like Roach, but less evident.
Someone Confirm this?
 
if this bug is not fixable,i would like them to honestly tell us,so i can forget about roach can actually walk,but now i feel like waiting in the dark with a little hope in my heart。
 
Yeah, it's still their after 1.05. I put off playing the game for about 4 days waiting for 1.05. I was looking forward to all the changes that came with the new patch, but Roach's frame stutter walk was what I wanted fixed the most. It's a shame that CDPR put so much time and energy into creating such a beautiful game only to have the experience marred by what seems like such a simple thing(and was not present pre-1.04). I saw the "fixes a number of issues related to horseback riding" in the change log and was psyched. Then I installed the patch and started playing. My heart sunk. CDPR, please fix this in 1.06.
 
This issue is driving me insane.

Problem description:

The camera stutters consistently when riding the horse at walking speed.
There are many examples of this all over youtube/google it appears to be happening on all platforms.
The issue is an eyesore on an otherwise absolutely amazing game.
Just wanted to confirm that you aware of this issue as we are up to patch 1.04 and still the issue remains?

I have the same thing when walking/running with geralt, same stutter as the horse video.
Got the problem since 1.03 or 1.04 i think, haven't really noticed it at the beginning of the game.
Sometimes its smooth, then suddenly without a reason it start stuttering again, even with high FPS.
 
Can confirm the stuttering when walking at full speed with the horse, feels like there is a hickup in the animation transitioning there. But thank god the camera stutter has been fixed, its like an entirely new game now.
 
I second the heartache over Roach's nasty animation stutter bug... still waiting for a proper fix after 1.05, since enjoying the scenery while slowly riding is a major thing for me too...
 
I hope they fixed this too. I am happy with the new patch 1.04 PS4, no stutter camera anymore. But there's still the horse...
 
God damn, the amount of issues in this game are just staggering. Glad I pirated this game. Best decision I made this week.
