Xbone users are happy with the new patch meanwhile...

PS4 users are having stutter and a lot of framerate problems.. it's seriously killing me.

This is one of the most ambicious RPG's I've ever played, the detail put into everything is incredible but it's hard to enjoy this game with this framerate specially when atm all the other platforms seem to be playing the game with no problems (besides some bugs like the XP one)

What's worse is CDRED being silent about this... my hopes off getting a patch that will at least smoother the game a bit is seriously reducing each day

As far as I know xbox one still has the camera stutter, but fps now locked and they don't get fps drops with is a big thing on ps4, ruin my enjoyment for sure, may as well not have any effects and always be daytime

i can say that from my perspective

i got pc and ps4 versions

locked 30 fps framerate on pc is amazing and its what the ps4 needs for sure.

and of course a patch that fixes the effects performance overall ( rain/fire/fog)

I read actually few people were upset with latest xb1 patch, because locking them at 30 hindered the game further. Guess that little boost they got sometimes helped out. Also the 30 lock didn't mean they stayed at at 30, they can drop 0-30 just not go over it. I have been playing this game extensively on the PS4 and haven't noticed the frame rate issues people are complaining about. Only stuttering I am getting is when I load the game world up from main menu, and its gives me a recap of what is currently taking place. Its funny because graphically, its not much, comic style artwork but it stutters really bad. Could be from loading too not sure. But other than that, this game is too good and runs flawless for me. Im in no hurry for a frp patch, rather them work on fun stuff like inventory optimization, monsters to give more xp, fixing the xp quest bug, ect. ect. This is my opinion of course and I am in no means discrediting anyone else! Take it easy fellow witchers!

Would really love to have a "Potions" sub menu added to Inventory! I really am tired of digging through books, food, notes and more potions to find that right one. Would be faster and easier if we just had a potions tab and kept books/notes/food separate if it was me! Ok. I am off! lol

the stutters you feel is because CDPR dident do any kind of optimization for the effects in witcher 3

My game doesn't go crazy. When I fast travel, it takes maybe 2 seconds to load up and that is probably crazy as it gets for me. My game plays smooth and I haven't experienced these framerate issues that are so hyped right now. Of course, by me saying this, im basically bending over for the cruel world of internet trolls to take advantage of me but I wont lie either. Only times I experience frame drops is immediately after a fast travel or when I load the game from the game menu. I am not incompetent when it comes to fps either nor have anything to gain by spilling the yarn. I wish I had an explanation but I dont. Game is perfect for me and I couldn't be happier! Looking forward to the future no doubt.

Bad fps in games is like when Fallout 3 first came out to PS3. That was a nightmare. When Skyrim first came out to PS3, not as bad as FO3 but damn close. Witcher 3 for PS4 is fantastic for me. Don't know why it differs for other people but so far so good here!

try play it with rain falling try go to the big city run around when its dark and feel your fps getting killed.

I have not had issues with frames either, like Zero. I think this is mass hysteria, severely over exaggerated. Seen your post around here and its obvious your a flaming troll. Your not cool and your only running off people who actually make these forums fun to read. Grow a pair and learn to respect other peoples opinions. I also had no serious problems with frame rate. Yes there are occasional frame rate drops, but they are quite rare and they don't impact my enjoyment of game at all. I don't think CDP should concentrate of performance at all at this point. They should be fixing broken quests, xp glitch etc. Those are real things that are ruining the game. Frame rate will only be better if they make the graphics worse and i don't want that at all.

I dont agree with you the bad performance has left many on hold until they actually fix it because it ruins the entire experince

I feel the same way MonsterHunter, I think this fps issue is just totally over hyped right now. I have experienced far worse fps with other games to the point where it actually did effect gameplay. Witcher 3 fps is not bad at all, only having hiccups for me during loading basically and doesn't take away from the gaming experience. Your words to witcherDK were brazen but I did appreciate them lol Your totally right about the internet being toxic, people are so hateful and lack civility anymore. Disagreements turn into petty name calling or worse. I simply end the conversation when I see it going nowhere as this one was. haha! Plus, I have very high respect for CD Projekt Red and want to reframe at all cost to internet pissing matches because it does make their forums look bad and they don't deserve that! Exactly my feelings. Cosmetically this game has delivered everything I want. Its stunning. Performance is very good too considering everything. And your right on the money that increasing frame rates would decrease visuals, fact that fps is more than fine right now I am opposed to them further downgrading the graphics. I would rather see them focus on functions/features that are important like the xp glitch, bugs, broken quest, optimizing and enriching like you said! There is a ton of cool stuff that they can tweak for us but more time they spend on making an already gorgeous game more pretty is less time to do any fun stuff. I really just think people get worked up on little things, blowing them out of proportion because someone on facebook did or popular guy at work did or whatever. There are bugs in the game but nothing game breaking or anything that ruins the experience.But yea. Good stuff! Have a good night and slay some monsters witcher! Haha!

No one said we dont get fps drops.. Thats your words. It doesn't bother us and certainly not to an extent that ruins the games experience. Like I said earlier. Fallout 3 when first released was a disaster for ps3. I played it again a year or so ago and it wasn't much better.. That game had severe fps issues! Witcher 3 has hiccups but seriously, its wayyyy better than people are giving it credit. I think just like people over hype games before release, they over hype game issues. I am more concerned about functions and features than the fps which is working fine. Is it perfect? No. But some of us take into consideration that this game is freaking massive and beautiful while being played on consoles that don't have enough GPU power. I am content with the game as it is.
