Next-gen update list of changes

What about horrendous LOD issues, for buildings and Npcs, as well CDPR you could add blood on Geralt's sword blade when he fights, both previous game had it, and what about bugged-out Npcs pathing, when they walk in small circles, especially Novigrad and Beauclair is atrocious of this problem, such an immersion breaker, this was the best chance to fix these problems?. Here are two big places where this issue occurs and video for reference:

Slightly disappointed that subtitle scaling is the only QOL improvement for subtitles, would have liked to have seen the option to display subtitles for non-native languages only (nilfguardian, elder speech, trolls, etc).

good afternoon, will there be keyboard and mouse support in the new update for xbox series x and s

This is copied form a post Flash made to a comment asking something similar over on FCR3's nexus page.

"Hey, I'm doing well.
Majority of this mod will be incorporated into next-gen patch, not all of it though. I'll try to find time to make the mod compatible with new patch, clean it up and optimize. Most likely in January. As far as I remember, components that didn't make it into the patch are changes to runes, runewords, reduced loot option and couple of other smaller things.

Cheers,
Andrzej"

I'm going to die from cancer soon.

But before I die, I need to know if there's a higher difficulty setting with this new update.

Is there?

(P.S. I'm joking)

This looks awesome! I can't wait to jump back in!

It makes me sad that the Gwent game is going to be discontinued. I wish the retail/full version could be played in-game!
That would have been amazing!

Either way, thank you for giving us another reason to dive back into Witcher 3!

What about horrendous LOD issues, for buildings and Npcs,
I don't know if this video is from next-gen but here
you can see person on boat without oar and horse without horseman.

Hope that cut-scenes will fully support ultra wide screens this time.

So the pre-release performance tests on YouTube are showing some pretty major performance drops on the Xbox Series consoles in Novigrad compared to the PS5 (which is significantly better but not "great"). Hoping that may just be a pre-please issue or old code. 5-10fps lower than the target in one of the key areas of the game would be disappointing (especially as someone without VRR). Only posting this here in the off chance this is somehow an unknown issue.

That large of a disparity between the Series X and PS5 is an anomaly compared to most other games as well.

How big is the download size for the update on PC? I don't have the game installed at the moment and it would suck to have to redownload it again (or close to it) within hours.

I've been watching some ray tracing on/off comparisons on YouTube and I noticed something interesting: Geralt's hair doesn't cast a shadow with RT on. It might be just limited to the Hairworks hair. Can someone verify this in game with no mods?

Will the mutagen stack when starting an NG plus be fixed on PS5?
