Witcher 3 music

Well, if you actually listen in to the Killing Monsters music, the same theme as people have linked you to is used. The background music for the action is just that - background music created specifically for this trailer, which is why it flows with what's happening on screen, that's its purpose. But at 1:48, when the wolf head appears, is when the actual theme is played, which is, as I said, a more up-beat version of the original witcher theme.

For me, it fits the world perfectly and is easily recognisable. So no, I don't want it changed.

Yes, this theme definitely is a visit card of The Witcher series. Most of the inspired music include it in different ways.
Intro in Michal Cielecki's "A Short Tale" is one of my favorites.

But on the first place for me is "Tales Of The Witcher" vokal version.

The more and more I listen to it I can hear what you guys are talking about. The other attempts were close, but I still think in the "Killing Monsters" trailer is when the composers finally nailed it. I guess I was talking more about how the theme was played than the theme itself. My TW2 album on my computer has around 100 plays, so it wasn't like I disliked it.

I just hope Paweł/Adam/Krzysztof not being involved doesn't end up going terribly wrong for TW3. I'm sure the new guys in charge know what the fans are looking for & should do at least a decent job, but I can't say I'm not scared by the fact that all 3 composers are now gone.
A little, naive part of me was dreaming that they'd announce Paweł was coming back & it was going to be all 3 composing for TW3.

Alas, the VGX Trailer Music, although it was really just 'Sargon', still seemed like it can fit into The Witcher World. I've got my hopes & I guess you just kind of have to when you're this invested in the series :)

We shouldn't get our hopes up too much, that's for sure.
TW3 has to be top notch in every aspect so I do wish the new guys the best so they can nail this part of the game.

Adam Skorupa and Krysztof Wierzynkiewicz are still on the team, so I wouldn't worry too much. Not to mention that the music we heard so far sounds promising.

I'm guessing mid development? There are some pieces from W3 with him listed as composer.

I suppose, all I remember is that he's no longer on the team. I know music is usually done early on (heck, we could hear tracks for TW2 during the alpha footage that got leaked back in 2009) so...

"Fans of the first and the second Witcher were captivated by the music composed by Adam 'Scorpik' Skorupa. The devs contacted him once more and it seemed we'd also hear Slavic tones of this artist in the third game. Unfortunately they were unable to work out an aggreement and The Wild Hunt will most likely not feature Scorpik's music."

Thank you Reptile. Too bad he is not in the team. After hearing his and Krzysztof "Ciri Luned Me", I thought he might be working on TW3 right now. Well, I was wrong. :crybaby:

Agreed, and they did say they're working with groups that specialise in traditional music, so we will get something like that, hopefully.

This is definitely must have song in Witcher 3 game! Could become an instant classic. I imagine a group of drunken peasants singing this song of great beauty.

Okay I have decided on a great song that I would love to hear in this game. Maybe have it in the end credits.
The band is: IN FLAMES. Song/Title is: WHORACLE.
I would be very grateful if someone here on the form could post the song here for CDPR and the rest of us to hear and enjoy.
It is a short track. CDPR could just edit and loop it for the rolling credits. If GTA V can have a shit ton of music artists in their games,
then is it possible for TW3 to at least add this one track into the game.
Fingers Crossed ;)

Nice theme indeed. :w00t:

I hope CDPR also give us something new for credits, something like "Believe" theme from TW1.

I think this is a great music for credits too.

Absolutely;) Now how do we get the attention of the CDPRED team to listen to these few tracks in hope that they will take them serious and add them to the game?
Hmm..
Post a pole to vote, what do you think? Or just leave it and see if they will surprize us in the end.

Personally, I prefer it when games use their own songs for the end credits. The Witcher games have been doing it so far, I see no reason why they should change that in the last entry.

Marcin Momot visit this thread as you can see on previous page, and he is from CDPR. Who knows, maybe they do make a little surprise for us when game came out. :)
