[ACT I] She's No Early Bird

+
Hmm... I've done this quest before, but never have I had her die on me... My question pertains to the quest "She's No early bird" and more specifically is it re-doable. Meaning if she dies can I simply meditate to the next night and try again or do I have to start over on a previous save to bring her back?

People having problems escorting her especially she keeps dying on you. A little tip:
After you start the quest you can kill the first couple of barghests but as you progress through the route it will get harder to protect her. Just run in the direction to her granma's house. Don't stop. She will follow you. Won't get killed. Barghests will chase you but stop a little later.

Another help:BIG SPOILER It is like cheating the game, so do it if youre really desperate: At the beginning of the trail, just turn left, towards the huntsman campfire, Vesna will follow. At the fire, kneel and meditate till morning. The Barghests will be gone, but she will still there... ;D

Acutally you don't need to take the risk and rush to the Royal Huntsman's campfire...
Just return into the palisade settlement and meditate there until morning. And guide her simply and safely to her grandmother's house.

I found another way.
You can take counter-clockwise direction to her grandma's house through the river village which is much less crowded by monsters.

I haven't tried that route either. It's worth a try... and I haven't used the meditation "tactic" as my Geralt is fearless monsterslayer and surely he wants t impress the young lady

I had vestna not appear for me. I kept returning during the night and she never appeared. She is in the inn still alive.I have talked to her grandma and the grandma says she is worried because she hasn't returned?

Is she in the inn even at night? Say around midnight? If she is, then it's a bug and you need to patch the game.

Have you escorted her home already, or do you mean that you don't get the quest to take her home?If I remember correctly, you don't get the quest to take her home until you've talked to her in the inn first, so if that quest isn't appearing, just chat her up while she's waitressing.

Yes I hadn't talked to her.It was actually convenient. Less barghests since I wasn't doing the five candles quest.

The best easiest way is to kill the bandits guarding her move back to the campfires near the inn sleep to morning then bring her to her grandma's house.she will say that to u need to move to the mill 1 day later at sunset but u need to go to the mill on this day's sunset this the easiest way for me.

Hi Guys thanks for this I could never get to romance Vesna I saved her twice
LOVE The Witcher am gonna start a new play thru

Well after talking to her at the inn, she disappears literally everywhere for me. She never works at the inn anymore, she's never on the road AND never at home, though grandma's always worrying about her. I have to say I first complemented her at the inn and then I talked to her again and probably said something bad that I don't remember anymore. That might be the reason why she's not appearing at the sign with the thugs at night?

She`s generally at the crossroads . as you exit the inn gate turn right . If I remember right she should be there somewhere around 8 and definitely before midnight .

Well, she's not there for me. Nor is she ever at the inn anymore, not even before 20 pm. I know where she should be since I've watched a lot of videos on youtube, but she isn't. When I get back home, I'll try to record it and show you she's nowhere to be found. I literally tried every hour of the night, starting at 20 pm. No success yet. Does it have anything to do with the fact that I could be too far ahead in the main story? I'm at the point where I have to give the five herbs to Abigail the witch and I have to go back to the Reverend to tell him about her. Sometimes I wonder if she hasn't died on me yet, but I guess you should receive a message of that somewhere in your characters list or quest log.

No . The "Early Bird" quest will remain active until much later in the first act and has to do with advancing the main quest and as far as I can tell you haven`t reached that point yet . Is this is a Steam version ?

Erm... I don't think so, borrowed the game from a friend of mine. I insulted her during the conversation though. Haven't seen her since then.
