crossing the mist...only back and forth once, right?

crossing the mist...only back and forth once, right?

I went to vergen, got crap, and along the way got a harpy quest. I decided to wait til later to do that. I think that was a mistake. I went back over to kaedweni camp, and did some stuff....now I die if try to cross back.

so....is there a point I can cross back to vergen again? maybe after the mist has cleared?

or do I need (annoyingly) to go back to a save BEFORE I recrossed mist?

There will be a time when you can cross again. I think you'll be able to finish that quest, but do it at the first opportunity you get.

If not, I'd recommend you abandon the quest and pick it up on your next playthrough. It's an, ummm, "interesting" quest, but it probably isn't worth backtracking for.
