Today, you click on any website that sells hardware, or walk into any computer store, and all you see is 16:9, and you have to look for the odd 4:3. Given the time 16:9 monitors have been on the marketOn the topic of black bars, I don't get the phobia for them.. then again, when there was no HDTV, I was a big fan of letterbox, because it let me see the movie on TV just the way it was meant to be seen. It always bothered me that TV networks would crop movies to 4:3.
