I LOVE IT vs I HATE IT

+
I love this game too! In fact its my 2nd fav games of 2007 besides Bioshock.. Keep up the good work!

Great Artwork, fine storyline, soulful environment. :DCrashes when entering new region or when i quit the game. Thus hate ]:->I am very disappointed with technichal stability

Love it...and even more, the Witcher website and community is top notch. I think the game experience is made better when a company supports a great website, and becomes close to the community, which you guys have. Good luck, you have a fan for life!!!

It finally had what I was always looking for in a game... a huge world, tons of choices & random dialogue, both dramatic and funny moments.... I like the mature level for language, violence, and storyline because it was much more realistic. Also, I like that I could avoid the "cards" and stuff if I wasn't particularly interested (if it explains anything, I'm a 17 year old girl gamer lol) I love this game so much! If the few technical issues were fixed, it would definitely be my favorite game ever. :D

Actually I hated this game, as it would not run on my old system without choking and dying. But I got a video card upgrade and switched 64-bit Vista and it runs like a dream on maximum settings, and I LOVE it now.

Amazing game. Extremely deep and fun. The demo doesn't scratch the surface of the retail. Telling all my friends about the game as well.Thank you developer and publisher! Looking forward to a long expansion. 8)

Thanks for making such a fantastic rpg. My all time favourite along with BG2. In style its more comparable to Oblivion, but the story is 100 times better than Oblivion's story, though it loses to Oblivion/Morrowind somewhat in that it is fairly linear.Secondly, I wanted to salute one aspect that makes it far preferralbe to Oblivion, the voice acting! The Polish voice acting is just fantastic, and even though I don't speak Polish I used the original script mod+polish voices. So much better than the English ones. That being said as games go the English voicing is quite solid, especially Geralt.I will play through a 3rd time when the enhanced edition comes out. For those of us who love the original polish voicing, will you include a "polish" option?Salute to a great game.

::) i like "The Witcher" because it's main character is a verry interesting one.Born human, transformed into a mutant. Even so, the game shows the humanlike behaviour: he likes fist fighting (he's a man with balls), at least the final scenes in fistfight show that; he has the power to take decisions and this way his personality shows up. Through so many information, transformation, unpredictable events, so many people to interact with and so many choices to be made, i can see the heart of a witcher: searching for justice and fighting against evil. Also i like the simple lifestyle he has: he doesnt need a bed or a house; he has a strong connection with nature's resources - he knows a lot about ingredients and substances and can gather them, he meditates and brews potions using alcohol; he kills monsters, he talks with people, he makes love to women, he cares for the weak and fights against the strong and the evil. At least this is the way my witcher thinks...The sexual part of the game is the most misunderstood one.. He sais that his job and his infertility exclude the posibility of a family lifestyle. In this circumstances, all that's left from his manhood is loving women, giving and receiving pleasure without implications - as Depeche Mode sais "Freelove". ...Otherwise he would be just another boring monster killing machine.. The soundtrack for the romantic moments melt in my ears.. :) Lovin and descovering all types of women, even for a second feeling peace and happiness in such an intricate world - I don't see anything damnable here. I know there is a censored release of the game because pppl condamn nudity... But those card aren't pornographical; they simply show wonderful bodies belongind to diferent women with diferent personality. There's a big difference between sick pornography and nice, contemplative erotism.I think that Abigail is evil.. Knowing that she's scared and that i'll decide her death, at least i can make her feel good for the last minutes of her life... That's the way my altruistic witcher thinks. :pPS: sorry 4 bad english :-X :-X

Was pissed off by the bugs, but the 1st time I heard that my mother sucked dwarf cock I was hooked and had to finish the game ]:->

:'( I just took a look at "The Price of Neutrality" and was disappointed. There's no speach only subtitles. Is that normal?

I liked the story , the brutal and dark world of witcher , great fighting sceens ... But the thing that makes me mad is ending cause nothing was solved the past , the reasons for your return from death and who the hell is those guy from outro ? I also enjoyed dialogues options and sex in the game . Bravo for all "bad girls " : Abigail , Adda , Vampyres and for your friends from past . The game is a whole new thing in RPG's . I hope will have part II soon .

I hope CD Projekt RED STUDIO reads feedback on these forums, because I feel the absolute need to congratulate the developers on a fantastic job.The Wticher is the best RPG I have played in many years. It is deep, visually impressive, story driven and fun to play. Red Studio has also managed to make a game far superior to recent PC releases by Bioware, despite using the Bioware engine themselves! The Wticher basically has a lot of what I expected in NWN/NWN2. Playing Geralt does hold your imagination for character bulding, but he's a fun medium that most enjoy role playing. In its own way, it is also very classic. It has been years since an RPG as been released with truly deep story that immerses the player, not to mention the amazing voice acting that is consistent for the entire game. Visually, have you ever seen cinematics of this quality in an RPG for PC? Probably not since the PC ports of Final Fantasy. The combat is exciting, motion capture is used very well. And just when you thought the days of time consuming quality games wasn't possible anymore.I've gotta admit, I'm pretty eager to see what else RED STUDIO can do.
