Any vague news on when this hopefully needed bug fixing 1.12 Steam patch will show? Seems like if you can suggest Blood and Wine in 2Q 2016 someone at Red could come up with something equally vague for this patch? Thanks a lot...

This is the most recent news from Marcin Momot:

Patch 1.12 is coming after New Year's.

Shouldn't be too big. I'll let you know as soon as I have that info on hand.

So guys, everybody is looking forward for the mods to be broken again? :D Hopefully, the next patch won't alter the scripts too much. This way the mess from last time could be avoided.

Forget the mods! Get the basic game, quests, and quest items working properly first. How can you dump in 3rd party mods and expect RED to work around those issues and console issues too. Get the game bugs fixed and rework your mods if you need them so bad. And it's a crying shame RED can't release weekly bug fixes for the PC because of console approvals that take forever. What a bunch of BS.

Proof? It's their own fault, not consoles. I mean, any other company release patches without any BS or, like in CDPR case, f#ck all over performance with patches at least twice with no other logical explanation than "performance is worse, because the game uses CPU/GPU more", but why it does use it nobody knows. They don't learn on their own mistakes.

Or they are just too busy making another trailer :facepalm2:They got their priorities right let me tell ya!

I only hope for fixing places of intrest, unkillable enemies, not being able to talk to some NPCs, graphical glitches, scabbards to be back (it can't be that hard if some guy not related to anything in the industry fixed it like a week after CDPR dropping the ball) and fix the performance to the great state it was in 1.08. There are also floating/merging with earth NPCs too. [debug] in items should be removed too.

But after that "not big" comment I'm not holding my breath, even though it looks like it took them 3 months.

A reminder:
The DLC Hairstyles still don't work in NG+, should you choose to groom Geralt with any of them, they'll just revert to the default hairstyle.

Geralt also seems to wear his clothes at the barber shops in Novigrad and Oxenfurt, instead of having a towel wrapped around his neck.

Patch 1.12

When patch 1.12 is coming?

And one more question - is the bug about Faithful friend quest going to be fixed in patch 1.12?

Heres hoping the next Patch fixes alot and lets all hope that soon equates to weeks and not months.

How soon is soon? Next week? Tomorrow's Friday and I doubt you guys will release it on a Saturday or Sunday. I am encountering that blurry performance around Novigrad issue as well as where the hairstyle DLC bugs users have mentioned both on Xbox One. With those bugs plus other bugs that a lot of other people have mentioned it makes it almost impossible to play. I kind of rushed through the story as a result. I ended up buying an Astro A50 premium headset in preperation to enjoy the masterpiece you guys created through Dolby Digital 7.1 Surround Sound. So I hope next week.

It is not productive or in order to attempt to impose a deadline or convert "soon" into a promise of any certain date.

"Soon" means no more than it is the right time to be patient.

I already realized that "soon" means "this year". No offence :D
True, usually I don't encounter a lot of bugs and thus don't mind too much about patches, but with the two bugs plus a few others I mentioned above it makes it really hard to actually enjoy the game. Unlike PC where you have workarounds and temporary fixes to get you by, Xbox One and I don't think PS4 have any fixes or workarounds. Don't get me wrong doing the update right so bugs are minimized rather than creating more is a lot better than rushing it and causing more issues. It's just I am unable to do anything in or around Novigrad without it blurring every few seconds. I really want to start a new playthrough and take my time, and paitence isn't my strong suit and I apoligize to the moderator and the dev I commented on.

I just hope the next patch fixes enough of the issues so that when Blood & Wine is released it will be in a playable state again.

Maybe I was kind of lucky, but within the standalone mode of the Hearts Of Stone expansion main quest, it seemed almost bug free. Doing most of anything other than the main quest within the Hearts Of Stone standalone expansion will most likely lead to the large amount of bug's that's in the standard game. I agree 100% nonetheless, I just hope they don't delay the patch a second time as I'm kind of worried they might.
