Is there an easy way to temporarily pause XP gain?

Is there an easy way to temporarily pause XP gain?

Basically, I'd like to be able to go through some of HoS (specifically up until I can acquire the NG+ Viper Armor) without gaining any XP, as I'm currently level 64 and don't want to overlevel for B&W.

This is true. I was just hoping for any kind of shortcut from those who know the file structure and how the scripts work much more than I do.
