If only I knew how to mod

~ Mobs don't always have the same tether range/distance before they attack you.

~ Small health regen (still takes a good 5 min to regen to full) option. Works out of combat only and NOT in meditate either. Mitigates continuous pausing to micro food/pots

~ More Flanking by ranged enemies and rushing by those with shields/"large" weapons (those that stagger). ATM all enemies act too alike even at Death March.

~ For the 1st 1/3 of fast attack animations a dodge property is added, gives purpose to Geralt's long spinning animations during his "fast" attacks

~ Rend: For each previous successive attack without being hit Rends Charge Time is decreased by 10% Any aoe type, melee or cast, counts as max 1 "attack" for this buffs purposes. Rewards large combos and buffs a skill that is very difficult to land organically.

~ Arrow deflection property is added to parry for free. This should be a mainstay of Geralts abilities.

~ A perfectly timed parry on an enemies stagger attack also staggers the enemy. Parry needs more versatility and this rewards timing it perfectly on more attacks then just basic small weapon attacks, and also helps since there is an overabundance of stagger effects in the game (and imo too few types of CC by enemies).

While there's surely room to improve the combat I can't really say I feel ANY of these changes you are suggesting is actually needed or it would make things better.
 
Troll decoction provides HP regen during and outside of combat. Most of your changes makes the game easier, whilst a lot of us are trying to make it harder.
 
Its hard in the wrong ways. The first and third change on my list would also change that. Currently its just buffed dmg armor, hp and mass stagger spam on the higher difficulties which is unimaginative.

This is one of those combat systems where it "looks" pretty and its attached to an otherwise amazing game, but is punishing in all the wrong frustrating and boring ways and too easy in many others. Giving enemies huge hp pools/armor and the ability to one/two shot you instead of upping its AI (especially considering how bad it is anyway) is terrible. I mean, getting stagger spammed by drowners that can hit you for 75% hp per swing is just dumb. For one example.
