Petition to CDProject concerning game's system requirements check at start up

Dear Developers!I would like to alert you that there's a growing number of frustrated game owners who can't play it.What causes this problem is a "weird system checking operation" which takes place at the start up and therefor determining the launch of the game itself.Most of us own modern laptops which definitely meet the game's requirements and can easily handle other games with similar hardware demands.We would like to inform you that we don't trust in the accuracy of this checking program,we fell disappointed at not being able to check the game's performance on our machines by ourselves and act accordingly.Therefore we demand a fix, utility or information that would let us stop or bypass this system checking process.This are some posts concerning this problem:http://www.thewitcher.com/forum/index.php?topic=2528.15http://www.thewitcher.com/forum/index.php?topic=3691.0http://www.thewitcher.com/forum/index.php?topic=2970.60http://www.thewitcher.com/forum/index.php?topic=4131.0http://www.thewitcher.com/forum/index.php?topic=4111.0So far all this threads didn't get any response from your team.Regards

count me in.Im very dissapointed by the developers who dont even bother to fix this.Ive spen 40euro only to know that game wont run because of developers mistake.So please be kind and release a fix or patch for this problem.

Same with me, after sending email to cd projeect support I received some gibberish that my vga can overheat and burn and it's for my own safety It would be nice to have some info about it with a bit of sense from cd project team.regards dissapointed so far not gamer...

I bought the game yesterday. Now it sits with my pile of unopened credit card solicitations. As far as I know my computer meets the requirements, sadly it won't tell me why it bails. I'm not even running it on a laptop.

i exactly have the same problem. although it won't help anyone i'm glad i'm not alone with my problem, so there is a chance they will fix it. it is frustrating to pay almost € 50,00 and then the game doesn't work. i count on help from the developers.

Signed. I meet the requirements for the game without question, but the checker comes up with the same error, and I don't have a laptop, either. Please disable the checker, enable a workaround, or otherwise fix its inability to correctly assess hardware, as everything is updated, and I run games with parallel requirements smoothly and without issue.

this is outrageous. i spent £30 on this bloody game and havnt even been able to load it up yet. this is my signature on the petition and i would call for everyone to email the company directly telling them to sort out this stupid problem!

I would be glad as well that the warning would become a real warning and not an error that refuse to start the game.Please let the user try even if the warning occurs.And if possible explain a little why such warning happens on some system.

it happens mostly because game requires 128 dedicated video memory and most laptops have cards with 64mb memory but this isnt a real issue because some new vgas can easily handle this game without 128 memory.

And still no answer... It's sick...I can't wait some new amazing notes on websites. And I'll print it and stick to my wall. Then I'll clean up my "The Witcher" box and I'll put it back.

It seems no one of the game developers doesnt give a f*** about us,those admins who are supposed to work on this forum should open their eyes and give us info about whats gonna be done.
