Marquis Serenity is still bugged after 1.05 patch ,so can't interact with her at all or play to win her card,I 've done the part where you meet roach etc there beforehand about the assassination of you know whom( without giving spoilers away).

Another bug is druid in skillage at druid camp,has ! above his head and on the map, meaning new quest available but you can't interact with him at all.


This is on PC .

Issues noticed so far (Steam version):

1) Minimap works fine outside and in buildings, but will goes blank in most caves.

2) Glyphs/Runestones are not registering in inventory when trying to upgrade them. I have 7 Lesser Igni glyphs and the crafting interface shows 0/2 when trying to craft an upgrade.

3) The ubiquitous "Mutagen Bug"

4) When exploring a swamp area I have to save every minute or less due to past occurrences of getting stuck in a waist deep puddle.

So I have a new issue with this new patch 1.05 since now, when i get to the game, I get Pops on the sound, in the opening cinematic and in the main manu, those pops are not in the game or in game cinematics, but since its a new issue i think i have to post it here.

CPU: i5 3570k @ 4.2 Ghz

The crash appears to be random however thinking back it seems to occur most often when I am entering an area or using a door. However which area or door will cause the crash IS random, as restarting the game and moving through the offending door/area will not cause a second crash. 1. On NVIDIA driver 353.06 the game will either lose focus and go to a black screen, forcing to tab out and go back in, which will occasionally work but the performance will be similar to that of a window mode. Or the game video will freeze frame, yet i'm able to move about and attack as I can hear myself. Forcing me to sign out of Windows Login in order to terminate the process. There is no NVIDIA kernel crash logged for any of these crashes. Issue not present on 352.86. Game version latest, 1.05.

4. Issue occurs on 353.06 every 5 to 10 minutes, maybe 20 or so occasionally.

Most of the time I'm not able to get a crash log for the game as I terminate it, but here is one.

Playing the Gog version from Gog Galaxy:

On version 1.05 I sarted suffering of:

- Skyies or Clouds textures changing while I look at them or turning around.

- After the first fist fight with the 3 guys in White Orchid, if I save after, everytime I load the guys fall to the ground and they are "floating" in the ground.

- Once I kill any Drowner, they "Freeze" and they stay standing frozen, the loot falls, but they are kept frozen. They are not there "Physically" because you cannot touch them, cut them or AArd them.

System:
Windows 7 x64 Home Premium
i5 2400
MSI GTX 660ti
8GB RAM
Latest "Witcher 3 ready" Ndivia drivers.

Once I rolled back (installing everything again!) to 1.04, all these problems were gone.

1- while im not sure if this is normal or a problem since no one seems to tell me anything in this forum i will share it with you perhaps ill get some response towards this, ive been getting really high cpu usage with this game people says that is because its a demanding game and i believe thats true, it spikes to 100% cpu usage although the cpu temperature goes around 50-60 to a max of 68 so far, the gpu temperature max is 70 i believe, people say thats okay but im not a profesional so, either way my problem is that i wanna be sure i can run this game without worries that it might ruin my computer, my processor or something, its 1 month new computer.
and just a plus of issue, i do have a problem with msi afterburner/rivatuner program, i cannot CANNOT! get to show osd in the game AT ALL the only way i can see the stats its by manually going to the program and see the monitoring myself from it, it works in the witcher 2, maplestory, star wars tor, no problem at all it just happens that i cant get it to work with this game at all.

4- it usually happens when im exploring although i cant be sure if it happens while being in town as well but it does reach high cpu usage either way, not like when i used to play the witcher 2 i think the cpu usage was never above 60 max 70 so to speak, if not less im not sure on that one.

I suffer the same and specially in towns!! My CPU is an i5 2400 3.1ghz (3.4 boost) BUT I can use OSD and yes! The CPU usage is VERY heavy. 90% in all cores and my CPU get 80 degrees in a few minutes! And here in Chile is WINTER!!

Only in towns though, cheers. And yes CD Project, this game is CPU bound!! I am not as fool as other people who think that it is GPU bound! (even if it requires lots of GPU processing).

I just noticed another similar crash log with the call stack mentioning HairWorks dll. Will try again and see if the problem persists on 353.06 with Hairworks disabled.
 
Hi,
I play on PC with keyboard and mouse and (occasionally) with an x360 pad.
There is a bug in the inventory key when inspect a scheme or recipe in merchant trade screen. When you select a recipe or scheme the legend in bottom-right portion of screen indicates press "I" to view details but pressing that key only dismiss inventory/trade sceen and go back to dialogue menu. To access that feature I need to plug an xbox 360 pad for pc and press "LT".

windows 7. nvidia geforce 960 video card. Tryed 5 last video drivers, tryed all levels of graphics (low. middle, high) , nothing helps.


Solve the problem or give me back my money!

My game crashes very often with patch 1.05. The game was very stable for me with previous patches Here is what happens: Freeze (video) but audio still working. The core game seems running as normal during these freezes (can open menu and navigate (can hear menu sounds)) or even fight enemies (can hear gerald swinging sword and stuff. After like 30 secs to 1 minute, the whole game crash. (to desktop)

This seems to happen whenever it feels like it. It does not block progress but it happens frequently enough to spoil the experience.

Platform:

i7-5960X 32 GB RAM 2X 980 in SLI 1 980 dedicated to Physx

my game just keeps freezing now after 1.05. it freezes in cut scenes and in the menu screens and when it crashes and i reload the game, it freezes there as well. I am so tired of this smh. I really love the game but i just cant keep playing this game having to save every 3-5 minutes becuase of the constant fear of loosing progress. Im done with this game until they fixed it. $53 dollars wasted right now.:mad:
 
I am also have random freezes every 3-5 minutes and I can no longer progress anymore because of re-opening/closing the game. Settings that I am using are medium for graphics and medium for post processing visual effects. Currently uninstalled Witcher 3 and installed again but game continues to crash. My system stability is good as no other games/applications are crashing except for this one at the moment.

windows 7. nvidia geforce 960 video card. Tryed 5 last video drivers, tryed all levels of graphics (low. middle, high) , nothing helps.

My game crashes very often with patch 1.05. The game was very stable for me with previous patches Here is what happens: Freeze (video) but audio still working. The core game seems running as normal during these freezes (can open menu and navigate (can hear menu sounds)) or even fight enemies (can hear gerald swinging sword and stuff. After like 30 secs to 1 minute, the whole game crash. (to desktop)

This seems to happen whenever it feels like it. It does not block progress but it happens frequently enough to spoil the experience.

Hi, I had a similar problem. You can try using the NVIDIA Hotfix driver 353.12 and setting PhysX to CPU

Or you can revert to NVIDIA driver 352.86 Witcher 3 Game Ready driver.

Both of those worked for me with the same crash and at the same regular intervals. The call stack is unknown because it's referring to an external entity - likely one of the NVIDIA libraries.

Hi, I cant unlock the cursor from window in windowed or borderless mode to browse on second monitor. Works fine on other games.
 
Bug report - GOG version, patch 1.0.5
Drop any item standing in boat and it appears on the deck floor, however try to move with boat then and the bag with item just stands floating on the surface of the water! It just simply stays there when you move away with boat. It should be fixed on surface of the boat, not on the water.
Could we expect this issue can be taken in consideration?

So im having stutters since ur patch, even using RTSS (rivatuner). Its strange cause at first after the patch it was smooth then just stutters.
So i reinstalled the game a few times then reinstalled win7 to no avail. I dont get it i have a good card (bought it 4 the game).

I have many more, the game just freezes, cant minimize it nothing, I always have to restart my PC in order to "play" the game again.
My Specs: I7 4790k @ 4,4ghz; Windforce 780TI; 8GB DDR3; MSI Gaming 5 Z97 Mainboard, game is running on a Crucial MX100 SSD 256GB; Windows 8.1 64Bit, tested different drivers, the "GTA 5" Driver, the "the witcher3" driver and the newest one 353.06


The wierd thing is, if I downlock my GPU, core -105; memory -170, voltage +45mV and lock the fps at 40, the game runs fine and didnt crash for hours... if I play with standard or overclocked settings without lock, the game randomly crashes after 10 sec till 30 mind

Hy! i found 2 big bug in game

First: I can create just only one mutagen with each kind. Becouse the game say this "You already have this item".
For example: I want to create a "Great red mutagen" ok but i need 3 smaller "Red mutagen" and i cannot craft just only one small " Red mutagen" becouse the game dont allow me to create more. Just only one small.

Secont: I want to create bigger runestones but the game not insert the smaller runestones, and i can't make big runestones.

Is possible to heal this bug ?

P.S. : Where is the screanshot button ?

first watch the spikes in metal on the shoulder of Gerald it are not left on the leather, they fly, seriously zoom when you made your 3ds max modeling.



second it's quest problem i think i complète the quests but not.





for the end many object can not be taken by Gerald
