Quirks found in the EE

Quirks found in the EE

So, mainly for those who played TW2 before the EE (most of us), just wondering what interesting glitches you've come across...

Me, well the Axii attempt in the monastery failed, according to the text...but the priest told me where the children were anyway.

The guard holding the townsfolk hostage rudely refused to face them, instead pointing his crossbow at the innocent house behind him.

And the executioner in Flotsam decided to float six inches above the scaffold after I'd beaten him down... now that's tough.

Anything interesting found? Hoping no one had the dragon fly backward or anything ;)

I noticed the Axii fail on the priest too and yet he still gave you the information. I also noticed that the Axii sign fails more now than it did before. I'm still in Act 1 outside of the Axii sign I haven't noticed anything yet.

Also the boxing bar doesn't follow the boxer. I'd thought it vanished but then I noticed it stuck in one place. I was like where is the health bar?

And it seems when you choose a weapon and try to change it from steel to silver the game doesn't always make the change. You tend to need to reload to be able to swap weapons. I was using steel one for a while then needed to do silver and hit crtl and tried to change it and it wouldn't change it. (Now it works maybe operator error? :) )

I also noticed that to skip through conversations you need to use the Left Mouse Button instead of space bar.

Didn't want to keep editing my original post :)

Personally, I like to use Right-click to skip conversations. It skips lines but doesn't do choices, so I don't accidentally pick something I don't like :)

I have seen a lot of Npcs doing Moonwalk or moving strange from side to side...

Maybe it happens just to me but ah well its funny sometimes.

Similar thing happened to me with a charm option. The game said Triss's charm on Dethmold failed, yet he still coughed up the requested information.

It could be because it is plot important information like with the priest. But with others ie Radavod (spelling) He seems different I will leave it at that.

yes i have the same issue with the axii, it shows as failed atempt but i still get the information as if it had succeded, i have had this issue twice now, first on the monastery on the prologue, and then later on in chapter 2 or 1(cant remeber now but think it was somewhere in chapter 1)

apart from that, all seems in order, exept texture taking a bitt longer to load sometimes, and some minor buggs with npcs not moving(enemies standign still sometimes) and other stuff that dosent happen to often and dont reallya fect the gameplay experience in a significant way(so not really worth mentioning)(i dotn even remeber most of them)..

I'm near the end of Act 1 now. When I fought Letho he had no health bar. And when I was supposed to follow Zoltan to the meeting place he followed me instead (he would just stand there until I ran ahead a bit and he would follow, and if I ran in the wrong direction he would stay still and yell at me :p).

I think they changed the AI on 2.0, and I've always found following people difficult since then.

If he's yelling at you though, it's usually because you've headed for the wrong exit from the market. He wants to leave by the door near the craftsman's quarter, not the main gate.

I also noticed the missing/misaligned health bars in boxing and the axii fail-success in the monastery.
Apart form that i have the impression that the game has become harder on dark. Maybe i'm just out of practice. ;)

finished my first post-EE playtrought, and now doing my second one, this time ioveth path all along, I LOLLLLED pretty hard after my battle with letho on the elven ruins.... guess who apeared near the exit?

LOREDO O_O i did not took any screenshot however but damm, major bugg there, wtf is loredo suposed to be doing there? u can intect with him, and he reacts as if he was in his house back on flotsam, furthermore the secod time when u have to choose who to aid, if u visit the elven ruins again Loredo is still there, right in front of Ioveth O_O

That's new, I think. There used to be a similar problem with Roche hanging around just before the Letho fight, when you first met Iorveth at the Elven Ruins, but it's the first time I've heard of Loredo showing it.

Get a screenshot next time! We all want to see this.

I'm fighting Letho at the moment and he has no health bar either, though I remember him having one on my first try. Restarting my computer or the game doesn't fix it, neither does loading an earlier save. Really annoying because I have no idea how much damage I've dealt.

A less annoying and more amusing bug happened when I first went to meet the Scoi'atel outside Flotsam to get escorted. There was a random elf sneaking around during the conversation which made it pretty funny when the elf Geralt was talking to was shocked when Geralt said he knew there were other elves around.

After I choose iorveth's path I actually saw fenn ,Thirteen and silas in the forest investigating some murders which I didn't notice before.

I have always thought the blue stripes sails of to kadweni camp at the very moment you choose ioverth's path though this isn't a bug.

In Act II? where exactly?

In Chapter 1 when Triss was about to teleport to the shipwreck she decided to climb down an invisible ladder and get stuck under the platform instead.

And inside the Blue Stripes quarters one of Roche's commandos was stuck inside a bookshelf, and he had tha hood on him so he looked damn creepy.
