I think it's because it accentuates every curve. The other two might be more revealing but are less form fitting.
I've never really been able to see Triss' eyes in TW3, but they look dark, are they brown?

It kind of looks like a mixture of brown and green - I think it was similar in TW2.
A bit like Hazel, eh? I like it, goes well with the hair.
Though I've heard it said that Triss had more brownish hair in the books, I'm not sure if I'd have preferred that over her firetruck red hair.

Yeah apparently it's "chestnut" which is a shame since I like the idea that she has a unique hair colour that makes her stand out.
There's no conflict with the books in this case. She wouldn't be the first woman to change her hair colour.
Each to their own. I've never minded the look of chestnut, I think it'd look good on Triss, that said, nothing can really look bad on Triss. ;D
I feel like uniqueness comes from more than her hair, her mannerisms and personality are more important imo, cause I plan on reading through the books and playing the first 2 games, after a while I'd like to imagine her being unique comes from more than her hair, otherwise that could get boring.
Indeed. Personally i very much like the TW3 look.
Me too, though many people like the TW2 look better.
Yeah, I prefer auburn over ginger. Sure it was a bit over saturated in TW2 but that was probably due to limitations with the engine. Once the modding tools arrive I'm sure someone will give us different hair colour mods.
