Video Lag when hooked up to TV [PC]

When I play the Witcher 3 on my PC Audio/Video sync is just fine. When I hook up my PC to my TV with an HDMI cable videos play just fine, streaming from Netflix and Hulu is also just fine. But when I play the Witcher 3 hooked up to the TV the audio is fine but the graphics lag just a few seconds behind. Not unplayable but certainly noticeable and very annoying. And every time I Google the problem I only seem to get results for the opposite problem, audio lag and normal video. If anyone has a suggestion for how to fix this I would appreciate the advice.

So lag is fixed now, posting in case anyone else might find this useful.

A new cable didn't fix the lag but upon further Googling for "HDMI Gaming" a common issue appears to be the TV itself being in the wrong picture mode. Set my TV Picture Mode to "Gaming" and viola, no more lag. Thanks Jon for the tip though! A backup cable on hand is always a good thing!
