What do you desire for the first expansion (not DLC) ? Make a list

(HUGE fist of salt chooms!) I hear Expansion 1 might be revolving around Pacifica nothing past Nocturne and the several paths leading to the ending, which is very disappointing. So basically it would just add a layered series of quests within Pacifica before V meets with Hanako at Embers. I think CDPR should let players know now that the expansions will not be advancing Vs storyline, if they wait to drop this until the release of the expansion its going to create a huge backlash-they should announce it now in my opinion if any of this is true.

There is no reason to believe that it doesn't give us more added ending context. Also, they're will be expansion 2. Blood & Wine for Witcher 3 was pretty much post-ending content.

I would be really happy if we could get a good ending with V alive with free roam and random missions, enemy attacks from cars, on foot and what not, after the game is done.

I feel like they gave V 6 months to 'figuire it out', so to speak. Look what V accomplished in just a few weeks? I don't see it out of the realm of possibility that V could survive. Also, I just don't see how they do the Sun and Star endings like that and not follow up on that.

police and gang cars tagging or chasing you whilst you drive around the streets. At this moment, police and gang cars are static
Kidnapping random NPC for $$$.
Boats in the water.
 
First they need to fix this: AI, Physics, Gameplay Mechanics.

Then they can think of selling an expansion, preferable a neo-noir story with a new protagonist, who could even be an NPC from the base game.

And if they can spare the time after a year maybe a walk button on PC?
Also fix the language: it is GF = Input, BF = Output in the source material!

  • a boat that V can drive in every water area
  • we can open car trunks, but they're always empty, would be nice to find stuff inside
  • more of the map unlocked, or move of the locked doors unlocked
  • even more clothing choices :love:
 
- a multi-step investigation story involving brain dance analysis using more complex game mechanics than only checking the open todos.
- a new partner helping with my jobs (and this partner could get its own story in one of the next dlcs)
- add replayability: at each step I have two tasks, do one myself and send the partner to the other
and please, not another big or small conspiracy story: after the last few years this trope really lost its innocence.
 
Definitely more characters that will bring life to the main story line, also playing in some areas that we weren't allowed to but were shown previously such as 'The Casino' and other providing us more in-depth about the origins and how are they related to Night City. Would love to continue current romances or get new ones as well.

Hope I see some of the things I mentioned here.
 
An awesome story with choices and consequences
New & interesting NPCs
Cool new environments/level design - expanded map (either internally or externally)
Some apartment customization and things to do there with important NPCs
An empathy & psychosis mechanic
 
Customization, and lots of it, weapon and car paintjobs etc.
new and cool types of armour, (linear frame perhaps).
new gun type, (maybe like a misc rocket launcher, grenade rifle, flamethrower sorta type
 
Since there are 3 story arcs yet all 3 follow the same sequence of events only for the ending to be different, I would like to see:
[note: I have not researched enough on specific quests and their outcomes fully and am only basing my list on personal time in-game after 2 plays]

- Accessible racing events (give us a reason to use those cars and give us some more accessible racing events and not just "The Beast In Me")
+ Scale difficulty to match player vehicle and max speed. It was unsurprsingly easy even on Hard difficulty when I played it on PC.
+ Bring varied races and perhaps even host weekly special races and involve the playerbase to partcipate through leaderboards.
+ Visual Customization if you can please. :D
- New areas with a brand new story.
+ V can be given a request to fulfill and put a full close on Arasaka (it's an example). The continuation of the story should be based on player decision. (i.e.: If went with Hanako's approach then no further continuation to the story as V would be restrained to test subject or natural death)
- New explorable areas.
+ New advesarial clan/gang.
+ New Fixer for V.
- New weapons with toggle abilities (toggle fire rate)
- Introduce more side-quests (I do not want to say generic) that can be escort or transport and involve on-the-move gunfights and allow switching of driver to gunner. (The custom Javelina or Hackmaw would be great for such encounters since it's plated).
- Perhaps more can be expanded on the Mercenary/Street Kid paths and Nomad paths. As long as other choices besides Hanako were selected.
- Introduce more interesting NPCs such as a few of the notables ones already in-game. I loved that aspect of Cyberpunk 2077. Perhaps a new NPC can relate to the time of Alt Cunningham. Perhaps more on the so-called hitmen from Arasaka.
