Anti Aliasing a lot worse in v.1.04

Please CDProjekt, fix anti-aliasing ! It's a lot worse after patch 1.04

At 1080p resolution, ultra settings, there's a lot of flickering and blurry textures (ground texture seem a lot worse too,IMO). Just bring back 1.03 aliasing please.

Did anyone notice this too?

As a matter of fact it looks better for me. Make sure everything is on high/ultra in the video settings. For some strange reason after every patch my texture quality is turned to low.

same here. Since i use GoG galaxy (great tool) it auto patches in the background, if my texture quality is on low i know i just got updated :p

It's because they tweaked the texture mipmap bias.

And yes I agree, the game looks considerably worse now, textures flicker/shimmer and you can see aliasing more easily.

Go to your documents\witcher3 and into the user.settings file. Look for the [rendering] section and find TextureMipBias. Set it to 0.

Or, if you've got an NV card, and want to be thorough, use nv inspector, and go to the witcher 3 profile. Then set transparency aa to sparse grid supersampling x2 (it won't enable it without hardware aa enabled, it's just to unlock the lod bias adjustment). Then scroll down to mip lod bias, and set it to what you want, eg 0.0. Then it will enforce that for the game.

Edit: I'm not 100% sure if clamping the lod bias from the driver works anymore, but you could also try that. Set it from allow to clamp.

not noticing blurriness or much negative change at all after the patch. aliasing looks the same comparing screenshots from earlier in the week with what i have now.
only change i noticed is now @ 1080p turning everything all the up i get ~5fps more than i did saturday with hairworks and shadows on medium.
