Can you give us a path where exactly did you find those files? I might look around too so we find as much as possible.

The old HUD template is here: gameplay/gui_new/sfw/fakehud

The orange like background with old inventory stuff is here gameplay/gui_new/sfw/character

In the worldmap directory there is the map you use when you change region. I don't know if hidden inside some redswf files are the region maps themselves. Hopefully someone can check.

you cant really get any texture from inside a redswf file, almost none of them show and are just red blocks... you need to find the actual textures for them... you can try searching with the texture.cache parser that traderain made.

Thanks to erxv 's idea to use traderain 's tool I have found Kaer Morhen map! http://imgur.com/4ZNyBlE (gameplay/gui_new/minimaps/kaer_morhen)

It seems to be separated in tiles so I don't know if I found the full map. Still can't find other regions maps, will keep looking :)

Also found these:

Monsters icons : http://imgur.com/0yok7N8 (hud/monsters_icons)

Weather icons : http://imgur.com/1VHE6Gb (hud/weather_icons) (these look like an E3 styled version colored with retail colors lol)

EDIT: Alright, nevermind I think I found some White orchard minimap tiles, they seem to be all over the place lol http://imgur.com/RWGiELr

Yep.. I guess making a small change to that little map shard and cooking it to see if its visbile ingame is worth a try

@Hyadum I want to help look for assets, do you have any tips/tools you use to speed up the process?

I used this tool http://forums.cdprojektred.com/forum...l-cache-reader by traderain . I basically exported all the textures caches of content folders (so content0, content1, content2 and so on..) and just went looking for the map textures files.

Also Mod editor to export sfw files and then jpexs to open them and see what they are about.

Some Quick test on repainting the map. Yeah it's far from anything you would want to use, just testing. Also much effort doesn't really make sense, cause we don't really know where the full map is.

Wow :O the map is looking absolutely awesome. i hope someone will make a mod
