pc perf is lacking. bad graphics on high

i have my graphics on high with an oerclocked gtx 770 lightning and i only get 30-40 fps

the graphics are pretty dreadful- wprse than tw2 for certain. perhaps even woerse than da2 and gothic.

the cutscenes are extremely nice and all, but real world graphics. anything more than 10 feet away looks like a bad blurred out painting.

that broken structure looks like textures from kotor. and kotor is from, what? the 90s? It is dreadful.. the tw2 was so nice.. how is this built on the sameengine?

Turn off HairWorks, turn up other things and see the magic.

I manage to play on high with hairworks on medium with a gtx 970 and I'm getting buttery smooth frame rates. I disabled the blur effects apart from depth of field, because they're annoying. So far the game looks good, though it will take a lot more time to really judge.

Yea Hairworks is nasty, also kee shadows on high not a huge difference from ultra.

Doesn't seem to be the case looking at your screenies.

i hadthe hairwhatever setting in the middle. i turned it off and it still looks like a 2002 game.

I kinda expected more from my ALIENWARE 14 too, to be honest... sure, it's not a top machine anymore, but I could run TW2 on ultra without a problem, and here I'm cutting corners on high.
