I've only played the games so Triss. In TW1, I couldn't ever bring myself to choose Shani, she seemed like a controlling bit**
^Really?! I felt Triss was more controlling especially with the Lodge. Especially her reaction once you side with Shani.
Triss has her secrets, but Shani seemed irritatingly clingy to me. I think she's better off as Geralt's pal than his lover, but that's personal preference. If Yennefer shows up with her memories intact, Triss will probably wish she had only ever been Geralt's pal. Oh well, she may turn out to be a lost cause, but she's still my favorite of the "relationships."
