Witcher 3 Graphics

Every time I see this thread, I have to post my latest screenshots to show what a work of art this game is...

No tweaks. No mods. Just the artistic vision of CDPR realized.

I think what it comes down to in the end is when CDPR is gonna release the RedKit. We wont see huge changes in graphics, thats just the way it is. If we want that crisp lighting and all those fine effects, textures and so on back we probably have to do it ourselves.
Problem is, its unlikely they will release redkit before expansion-pass DLCs are out, it will take at least a few months. Attention to the game will be much smaller by then, think of all the games that are gonna come out. Fallout 4 is supposed to be released this year, modders will go crazy on that. Theres even a chance ENB for Witcher 3 wont be coming out as there definitely will be lots of focus on Fallout 4.
Besides we dont even know if redkit is gonna allow us to play around with the renderer. If Im not mistaken you have to have access to the source code to make some bigger changes?

Anyways just wanted you guys to consider that. I think CDPR is on a time limit here with Fallout 4. So far a great amount of modding both in Skyrim and Fallout 3 / NV has been done without any tools provided by the developers.

Also wow...Skyrim Nexus still keeps going.

the lightning looks great during a lot of moments in the game; however, there are also a lot of moments, where lightning looks a bit over the top. like show in my previous screenshot. And as mentioned before, sweetfx isnt a fix for this issue because as I said the game has to many different weather lightning conditions which makes it impossible to create a pleasent preset in my opinion. I only use sweetfx to adjust the sharpening effect a bit.

I LOST MY TEMPER AND I TAKE THINGS TOO PERSONALLY AND ETC.

ANGRY WORDS[/B]

Is ugly such a explicit word for you, should I say that your screenshots are less beautiful instead.
I never personally insulted you, I merely said your preset is ugly.

Read my comment again, I never said they cheated I merely said they picked one of the most beautiful spots in the game

Almost no lumasharpening, you are wrong, open your sweetfx configuration file and you will see what i am talking about
/*-----------------------------------------------------------.
/ LumaSharpen settings /
'-----------------------------------------------------------*/
// -- Sharpening --
#define sharp_strength 0.30 //[0.10 to 3.00] Strength of the sharpening
#define sharp_clamp 0.035 //[0.000 to 1.000] Limits maximum amount of sharpening a pixel recieves - Default is 0.035

and again this screenshot was taken with your mod enabled and this time I porpusly chose one of the ugly locations in the game instead of the beautiful spots
If you dont believe me thats your own problem, not mine

If that's what you guys see no wonder you guys arent happy with your graphics. Its oversaturated and yellow (its leagues above calling it warm).

You don't understand. He is perfectly happy with those graphics and he insists that ALL presets only make the game worse. Plus he is insisting that all presets authors post screenshots that are only of the best spots in the game and so in-game they look much worse than what you see on the page.

Naturally he has yet to prove something of this, but it seems nobody cares.

nice of you, to spread false information. Between, I am uploading a short video to prove that you are wrong

Mods incoming....please?
Also I may advise you that I wrote something constructive to lead this thread to another direction (1 page or so back).

Really? Didn't you say that ALL that SweetFX does is to make the game worst in the end?
Didn't you say that all presets change colors and this is good in certain parts and not good in others?
Didn't you say that the shots in presets are taken only of the best spots and in-game the presets don't look nothing like that?

Didn't you say this? Do you really pretend this? Do you want me to come back and QUOTE YOUR WORDS on these things?

There is nothing wrong about the sky
You are calling my screenshots terrible, Isnt that an insult as well according to your logic?

OMG. You don't either know that if you load a save game the first time the sky is not loaded correctly (the clouds don't appear)? You have to re-load the save another time (without moving) for the sky to load correctly (or alternatively let time pass - as in meditating - for it to do). Seriously you never noticed? And you are the "expert" of visuals?

its lumasharpening, no need to spread false information again

OMG. which part of "it is to contrast the Gauss filter" you didn't understand? Do you know what a Gaussian filter is and what it does?

Look in customfx_settings:
#define USE_GAUSS 1

"Expert" of visuals that cannot either notice that there's a gaussian filter in my preset, oh well....

Why are you so angry? For you it's impossible that someone prefers vanilla look? I understand that you want to defend your work but you must understand that someone may not like it.

why do you keep bringing up the gaussian filter , I never said it wasnt enabled, I am just saying the lumasharpingen is clearly enabled in your preset

read my comments again
I said that the certain locations actually look better with those presets enabled while others locations looks worse with thos presets enabled in my opinion

Yeah, more angry, demanding words. Way too attached to topic.

Still too angry, integrity of work, blah blah. Chill or more break time.

Actually there is a way to fix this. Show us 3rd video of the cutscene lighting mod :)

Yeah, that's true! Show us your improvements so we can start talking about something else. The off-topic is also because there's no much new information around atm.
