Lack of variety in Sex scenes

+
Hard to portray different sex positions in a game where you can have sex on different women :) Thats why they make a generic set of scenes regardless of who your woman is.

Geralt is a "one trick pony" in bed I guess.

What do people want? Do they wanna see him do doggy-style and all that? I dont think that would be cool.

Then this wont be rated as Mature but a PORN rating if they do that... Those pervs are always looking for more go watch PORN instead of playing The Witcher 3.

The country that sells the most games dictates overall policy. Sadly thats not Europe so sexs scenes needed to be toned down/covered up accordingly.
I'll bet that the next game CDPR will make will have the mandatory "diversity" in race and sexual preferences in it and no nudity at all.

Europe has to acquiesce and become a carbon copy of a other big for the moment powerfull overseas country.

idk man. In TV-show and movies you can do all sort of kinky stuff, but its still not porn. But like I said I dont think going overboard with sex-stuff is a good idea. Sex has changed A LOT the last 20 years and this takes place in the (made up) middle-ages... I think this is as kinky as they got.

I love the way it is in Witcher 3. These guys shouldn't demand for more as the game is perfect of course if it has no bugs and glitches and other issues.

But story, scenes, battle and effects are very nice :) thats IMO.

Are you even reading what people have been saying? Copy pasted animations on whores are understandable, but not when it comes to main female characters like Triss and Yennefer.

How old are you to be saying dumb shit like calling people "perverts" just because they didn't like that almost all of the sex is a copy pasted animation across different women.

CDPR themselves said that sex is an important part of the game because it helps establish your relationships and emotions with the main female characters.

How does having the exact same animation you'd get with a whore help that?

Witcher does a very tasteful, pleasant and artistic representation of sex, the only issue is the limited amount of different animations.

You seem to have this stupid juvenile idea that it's just there for people to jack off.

- Why did the team shy away from full frontal nudity. Main female character lies there with bottom covered so that world will not see her bottom ? TW2 was better in a way in this aspect.

You think you're disappointed with the lack of full frontal nudity? Spare a thought for the CDPR artist who painstakingly recreated the 'pubic mound' texture, only to never see it fully utilised. My thoughts are with that guy.

I can understand the brothel scenes being reused but not for unique characters like Triss, Yennefer & Keira.
Triss fans must be disappointed especially... I think we can all agree that her love scene in TW3 sucks compared to TW2.

people want w3 sex not to be a step down from w2

A step down? If there's is one thing I dont worry about its the sex-scenes. That is not important at all. Its a great game and I dont even watch the sex stuff I just skip it. Im pretty sure that the people who need better sex-scenes are 13 year old boys lol.

Yes, it's "important", in a way.

I don't need the game to satisfy my sexual urges, I have a loving girlfriend and the whole internet for that matter.
The point is about the feeling of immersion and maturity.

I don't give a flying fuck about sex scenes, but I do want them to be there, and if possible, interesting and well-thought.
Why? Because I enjoy immersion, and utterly despise politically correctness. I want a full depiction of a fictional universe, not a toned-down and censored one. I want to know that if I ever want to experience it, it's there. It contributes, with all the others details, in making the world I'm playing in a living, believable, realistic place.

Nudity and sex is as much part of everyone's life as everything else, and some people should seriously grow up if they're offended by that - especially when they don't raise an eyebrow over the fact that you can kill hundreds of people in cold-blood during the game.
For that matter, I'm glad CDPR is a European company, not plagued by that nefarious mentality easily found on the other side of the Atlantic whenever nudity or sexual relationships are involved in a mainstream game/movie/book.

The whole topic reminds me of the Janet Jackson "accidental" nipple incident years ago.
Half of the US were on fire, Europe either laughed or simply didn't give a crap.
A counter-example to that is when Fallout 2 (and 1?) got censored in Europe, by removing kids from the game because you could kill them. I was quite upset at that, even though I'm not a sociopath in real life (that's what all sociopaths believes).
A patch fixed it, fortunately.

My point being that when I'm enjoying a mature work of fiction, I don't want people to decide for me if it's morally acceptable or not. I'm an adult, supposedly educated, and can do that by myself, thank you very much.

cmon now by that logic people who need violence in their games are 13 year old potential school shooters and we kinda know thats not exactly true

I see where OP is coming from, that all excluding the unicorn scene (or so I assume, I probably haven't seen every sex scene in the game yet) is the same, just with a model swap, comparing any of them to the bath scene makes them look like they were just added on quickly, though, I don't know how to program or write code, so maybe I underestimate just how easy it is.

However I don't think it's a major issue, or even a small one, but that's just me. To me it's a video game that has mature content, but if others want it to be porn for them, well that's their prerogative.

For real? I don't care about the sex scenes. This don't affect the playthrough of the story at all. I worry about things that affect this.

We feel the same way about politically correctness, but like I said sex in the middle ages in Europe probably wasnt that intense. And Its not censored.
But hey, if they make the sex-scenes more interesting that ok, but if I had to list up stuff I wanted to improve... the sex-scenes would be pretty close to the bottom of that list.
