coz they went the BioWare route that they are just better then everyone else along with common sense and industry practices?

Endings were meant to be the end, in official guide for CP77 they literally said the you will spend eternity in Mikoshi, because reasons.
they also talk about redemptio, don’t know redemption from what but who cares, so many edgy words.
they are also completely honest that it was never about choices just a story on rails, since it was story about Johnny all along, V was just a secondary character the be written off one s/he will outlive it’s usefulnes.

If that is true then they really fucked us over. They let us create our own character, made us think that our choices matter, that we can shape our story. They even gave us possibility to make romances, friendships with all of these characters we have met on our way just for us to find out that we are only a mere vessel for Johnny and our whole existence purpose is to die anyways so he can come back. That's fucked up, we really are like the robot from Rick and Morty that whole purpose is to pass butter lmao.

A story about Johny ends in Mikoshi, now they can give us the continuation of V's story - if not why they give opportunity to create our personal character?
For multiplayer maybe....i hope you are right and taht we created for continuation of V's story

I'm completely fine with Keanu as the voice in V's head - but Johny at Mikoshi stated that his done with his revenge, he want to go with Alt, and give V chance to live and fight for cure: "Never stop fighting V".

Well, that backfired pretty bad then. Johnny isn't exactly a liked character. Quite the opposite. And rightfully so.
I've said it before... such a waste. V will be missed, not Johnny.

Man, I just can't understand the mindset that thinks V is just a vessel for the player to get around in. How can someone be so emotionally stunted...
Jaded, burn out? I don’t know. Clearly someone missed the point of like everything -proper storytelling, proper mainstream story, proper story for video game that is about starting the franchise, proper story for open world game.

What we’ve got is badly wrtitten Fight Club with psychopath version Tyler Durden to be a main hero that will canabilize the Narrator.

Fighting against what? Rebel without the cause? did game even points why we must fight? Fighting against corpo that are the world?

Not to mention that this will be very short fight since V has few months to live with no cure in sight. And even with cure this is no choice since there is just one ending that can carry to the future content.

its classy CP77 about choices and shaping your own story, where you can only make one shape.

Or you can give him your body and deny him even his digital afterlife in cyberhell.

Just to fuck over every character of the story.

I am almost sure not even Malus Darkblade suffer so bad end in warhammer fantasy as V did in cyberpunk :D

Malus Darkblade for those who don't know is possessed by Demon, and he fight all the time for his soul/life.

And this, my dear Takemura, is why you are a glorified bodyguard and not a scientist. Cause your shitty opinion is wrong and ends up killing me, if I trust you.

And the game keeps making these false promises for the rest of the mainstory. "Do thing X and it will save you. Well, actually it does not. Please die now or in 6 months, cause F U".

Yeah. And the game does not even provide lube...

doesn’t matter at all since the game is about Johnny, V’s redemption (pls don’t ask for what prolly coz a/he was born) and fighting corpos . Because corpo bad.
No choices no different agenda just rails.

This whole plot makes not sense considering the official guide for CP77.

What just occurred to me is that they might go watch dogs way. In first game you have one protagonist, in second second not connected in any way shape or form. So we might never see V again, maybe just another cast of caracters with whole another story

That would be even worse than not doing another game at all.

V is maybe one of the most loved parts of this game

At least it was not a grand-final of good trilogy, like ME3 ending fiasko. CDPR revealed their true colors early, thus sparing us from far greater disappointment.

You know that ME3 turned into fiaso only cause most of bioware quit after ME2 and Original Writer of the story quit as well so they had to think of their own way to end it and ofc as brilliant as EA is they did it in style.

What excuse CDPR have? Most of Witcher 3 team quit as well?

Imagine cyberpunk 2078.
A startup merc, who wants to join the big league enters the afterlife and orders a V.

That would probably the point, where my controller gets accelerated towards my TV screen.
I think mine would drop to the floor and I would gain instant understanding of hitting the black wall

Cyberpunk never was about large world shaking events.
At least not on purpose.

It isabout the small and personal stories.

While they get it right over large portions of the game, it falls apart in act 3.
It already was on the heroic end of cyberpunk when we decided to steal from the inner core of the Arasaka dynesty. The heist was a stretch but I was ok with it. A tad too epic bit ok.

The epilogue however was absolutely out of proportion.
Whereby I was still ok with mounting the assault because of it initially being about just saving my V, at least that was my position. If you'd look to Johnny's goal there, then indeed, its too much because he wanted to burn Arasaka. And it felt like they wanted to put that to the foreground instead of just me saving myself.
