TW3 Save game import

Has it been confirmed that there's an actual save import, or does everyone have to select their choices during the prologue?

Sure, as confirmed as the platforms Witcher 3 is released on. Put your savegames in the right folder if they aren't already (My Documents/Witcher 2/gamesaves or something like that) and they will show up automatically if you choose to import a save when starting the game, quite like in Assassins of Kings.

And Gamestar wrote that there are additional things that play a role or get mentioned apart from the 5 choices you can make if you don't import a savegame - minor though, but they are there, just don't expect to hear much of your choices from Witcher 1. Have fun!

Guys, what about transfering some items from W2 to W3? Just like with W1->W2. On PC ofc.

Gear won't transfer anymore..just the decisions.

Yeah i know that by now, but how about the orens [gold] that should be pretty wicked if that can be imported to the witcher 3
