There's an old thread discussing which parts of the world will be included in TW3:

Some miscellaneous info: one of the major Polish brokerages estimates that TW3 will sell at around 7 million copies in the base variant (with estimated 50% probability), 6.5 million in the pessimistic variant (15% probability), and over 9 million in the optimistic variant (35% probability). (http://www.money.pl/...,0,1459106.html [Polish]) So expectations are high not only from gamers, but from the investors as well.

Very interesting.

From the hype im seeing in gaming websites and forums, if the witcher 3 gets 8 or above in most ratings from reviews when it comes out, I wouldn't be surprised to see it sell 5 million copies.

WITCHER wins again
It's a sad day when you see SP beat DA, I hope BioWare proves them wrong, I don't expect them to though.

I still have ONE last bit of faith in Bioware. This last hope i have, if they really botched up DA3 this time, no more EA stuff ever again again again.

Bioware hopefully will prove me wrong, since DAO is one of the better games i played.

The day when EA buys CDprojRED is the day i officially quit gaming.

no. i'm very seruis about this. i will not purchase inquisition for the very same reson. not new anyway no matter how good it might actually be. ea deserves a lesson for what they are doing to this industry even if bioware has to take some to. and the only ay to do this is to hit thair wallet. and i surely will du just that.

I thought DA:O was great, and swore that was one of the best RPG's, but for the last couple of weeks I have been playing The Witcher, I'm already loving that, can't believe I overlooked this game (but then my PC at the time of release couldn't manage anything with cell shade 3.0). Witcher 3 is already at the top of my must have games list for 2014.

MCV India article, with confirmation that they're still on track for a 2014 release, and some nice anticipation about the Collector's Edition.

This line in particular:

'We’ll be announcing the editions when we begin the preorders in a couple of months.'

Haha, this:

There were a lot of erratic difficulty spikes in The Witcher 2. Will The Witcher 3 have an easier learning curve?

We call this the Eastern European immersion curve, where we throw players straight into the deep end.

but we are looking to release the REDkit sometime after the game launches

Argh. Hope it will be soon after the release this time around. Would be a shame if it would again be released after the huge interest in the game has gone by and the modding community lacks a huge playerbase as incentive.

So I could finish the story and then go back to tackle the side-quests?

Yes, you could, but some of them won't be available depending on your choices in the game.

That is surprising. So far, didn't they say there was no continuing after the main story? I'm not sure if he misunderstood the question or if they actually changed that design choice.

How can you ensure that the game will constantly challenge the player?

I don't think this was an issue in our previous games, so I don't see why it should be an issue in Wild Hunt.
Hmm.. I disagree. Both games tended to become too easy towards the end, instead of more challenging.

That ign interview is an interesting read, I weep for the soon to be unvealed requirements to max the game after reading it.
